I still haven't had to put the heating on but I did have to change to my other duvet a few days ago. I don't have any young children but the dog decided he was cold and tried to get under the duvet the other night lol.0

No it's still not cold enough in North Kent, mind you I have a well-insulated house and it's mid-terrace so I think that helps .0

Ours is now set to come on according to the times set on the controller, but it is still too warm to actually come on.
The gas engineer never did turn up, but I looked up the problem on the Internet - turned out to be stuck thermostatic valves - and I fixed them both myself100% more reliable and free to boot

Still no heating on here either (Lanarkshire, Scotland).
However for some reason it does have to be really cold outside before our house gets cold. We have a neighbour downstairs who is in all day so I think we get the heat from there as well.
Trying to hold off as long as possible (aiming for November). The longer the better I don't like the heat from central heating. Feels too artificial. I much prefer my fluffy socks and blanket0 -

Oh dear - I've had the winter weight duvet on my bed all year round! When it gets really cold, I've got a second duvet....
It's getting a bit chilly here but I've only had the heating on for an hour or so in total since last winter - just to test it still works, you understand0
