Well no heating on here yet!

We upgraded to the warmer duvet last night, but the halogen heaters are still in the cupboard and on top of the wardrobe. next step is getting the draught excluders out again!

And we're getting a gas bottle at the weekend other than that we don't have heating to put on!!!

Sorry but I have had to give in... It's that time of month and it always makes me feel exhausted and worn out and I get cold really really quick. So I've had to stick it on tonight... also feeling down as OH has just gone as he's on a training course and he's probably not gonna be back till late thursday night. BOOOO

  • Not yet! Newcastle is still quite summery, and now we have upstairs neighbours (noisy, irritating lot that they are) the place is a little more insulated. Hopeing to hold off until we move, which should be within the next eight weeks... Hopefully. I usually have terrible circulation, but the chill hasn't set into my feet yet.

Still surviving with extra layers and the odd HWB!

Determined not to cave in till November... I object to seeing the petunias still in flower and then going indoors and switching on the CH.

It does make a difference doesn't it :) No doubt I'll turn it back off in a day or two but for now I just really needed to be warm and cosy :)

Still coping down south, but have had to upgrade to warmer duvet, dig out the flannel jammies (ooh, Maaatron!) and warm the bed up with the electric blanket before going to bed. Still refusing to turn even the small electric heater on though - furry throws doing sterling service when the TV calls!
