Oooohhh I feel quite impressed with myself.... heating not on here yet. DH has been asking for about a month now but I keep saying no. Not cold enough yet - I did grow up with no heating tho but that was many years ago.
However duvet is being used (rather than sheets and blankets) and I'm wearing a night shirt or PJ's.
Problem I have is that DH wont wear anything to bed - says he cant sleep if he wears anything. So obviously he gets colder than I do and needs the heating on before I do. Any ideas how to get round that??2012 wins approx £11,000 including 5k to spend on a holiday :j0 -
No central heating on here yet (I'm in central Scotland).
I have had to put the thick duvet on the bed though, and we're resorting to thick socks, fleece jumpers, warm throws and lots of tea to keep warm in the living room.0 -

Hot water bottle to warm up the bed when you get in if your nice and warm at the start it helps, so a hot bath just before bedtime too. Otherwise you never warm up.:rolleyes:Pawpurrs x0 -

Finally gave in and put the heating on tonight, kids and oh have been complaining for a few weeks that they can feel the cold in the mornings I have been trying to tell them that it's the healthier way but finally gave in this morning when i was up at 5 rather than my usual 7 and had to agree. Never mind i normally give in at the start of Oct but since finding this website I have been determined to hold out for a bit longer will last until nov next year.0
