Mine's still off - it seems quite mild here still. I'm wearing lots of layers though and always snuggle under a fleece throw when I'm sitting on the couch. My main living areas face south-west and have big windows so on the sunny days those rooms get quite warm, in the daytime at least.
Trying to spend less time on MSE so I can get more done ... it's not going great so far! :)
Sorry if I don't reply to posts - I'm having MAJOR trouble keeping up these days!

still off :D but have had a few lovely toasty open fires.

best thing we found so far was to invite some friends round for a drink and a toast by the fire, but having 3 extra people in the living room meant it warmed up nicely so we didnt even light the fire!

It's off because I can't find my gas card......not very moneysaving as if I don't find it soon it'll be takeaway for dinner <sigh>

On the upside I've got quite a bit of tidying done as I hunt

EDIT I knew if I posted that I couldn't find it -it would turn up-and it did -neatly placed under my internet banking gizmo. Pity really I was almost tasting that Chinese LOL ;)

Mine's still off. Hoping to keep it that way until beginning of November - 47kg gas cylinders v expensive so try to use as little of it as possible.

mine is off, but then we are a first floor flat so we are quite warm. I may have to put it on for the spare room which is ground floor though...as i am noticing the washing is taking longer and longer to dry.

I put it on for a little while in the morning...makes it sooo much easier getting up for work. :D And we have it on for a little bit in the evening.

Happy to report still off - the weather is still very mild so it does not feel at all like a sacrifice.
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).
