    OFF!

I made a curtain for the bathroom, told OH to wear PJs in bed, stocked on extra TOGs for the bed ready for when we can't take anymore.

    I shall not give in!!!!

anyone else find that having the PC, tele and lights on make hell of a difference to the room temp?
  • Sorry.

Gave in this week so it's on in the evenings when DD has tea, bath and bed then off by 8pm.
  • OFF

I'm holding out for as long as possible. It's not too bad at the moment, it gets a little chilly late at night sometimes so I just snuggle up with a blanket or put a jumper on.

No heating yet, but started to have 5mins of electric blanket to warm the bed before I get in about 2 weeks ago. Managed to halve my heating costs last winter compared with the previous but spent a lot of time feeling cold. Am hoping the insulation and draft proofing done this year will make a big difference.

  • If you`d booked a holiday in Bournemouth for the last 2 weeks it`s probabaly been the best 2 weeks this year. Definitely no heating on yet

I have put higher TOG quilt on we have halogen uplighters in the lounge which give off loads of heat, as does this lap top!

Its been beauitful sunshine but quite chilly in Norfolk. I cant having any heating on as OH has taken all the rads off to replaster/redecorate - gawd knows when he will get round to putting them back. Luckily we also have open fires so for about the last week Ive had an open log fire each evening.
