Haven't even thought of needing it yet - it's still very mild.

The block of flats I live in had cavity wall insulation done this summer and I'm wondering if it will make any difference when it does start to get cold?

I've no intention of making myself miserable though - the heating'll be on when I feel cold. Scottish Power altready have £200+ of my money held ransom (they insist being £200-300 in credit is *normal*?!) so it's about time I used it :D

I really don't mind the heating being off if I can snuggle up, but when it stops me wanting to get on and do my housework or go into the kitchen and wash up etc. then it must go on I'm afraid.

  • Ours is off at the moment, but then again I'm writing this from a lovely warm hotel room in Johannesburg as am on a work trip.

OH doesn't feel the cold like I do, so no worry of him cracking and turning it on whilst I'm away! :D

  • OFF OFF OFF!

I'm hoping that mine wont go on until November but we are suing the wood burner occasionally so I guess I'm a cheat in a way. It was warm enough for bare arms today though so no way am I giving in yet.
