No heating on here yet but when we do decide we need some warmth in the house we'll just light the living room stove at first like we normally do.

Still off. Still not seen anything lower than 18 on the hall thermostat, although my bedroom is significantly cooler.
Traded fleece jacket for proper winter dressing gown. Got my winter coat out. Still in autumn nightie and socks - I have super thick ones for winter as poor circulation. Sherpa blanket on bed not yet needed.
I suppose I should test the system as I haven't yet and been here 4 months now.

Still off in West Yorkshire...beautiful sunny days3

We're in the north-west and haven't got the heating on. Currently the thermometer in the back room (that we use most) is saying 17 degrees but we aren't feeling cold. We do have some oversized fleeces coming from Dunelm tomorrow to use when it gets colder to delay when we will start using the heating but even then, we won't have the heating on in a morning - haven't done that for over 4 years. In an evening we'll probably only have the heating on for a couple of hours "just to take the chill off" and set it to about 18/19 degrees, I reckon. Lower temperature and shorter hours than we did last winter.
Time will tell but that's the plan. We generally don't have the house as warm as other people seem to do and that said I won't tolerate us actually feeling cold. So, if the extra layer and 2/3 hours heating doesn't cut it and we feel cold, then the heating will go on for longer and/or higher temp.

Still off in north Devon, though I must test the system and bleed radiators soon. I try to aim for December 1st, but usually in November hubby and I start negotiations. I am a jumper and hot water bottle girlMarried 40y.o. mum of an autistic 11y.o. Carer/SAHM.

Still off here in East Yorks. I tested it a wee while ago and there were a couple of cool spots on some of the radiators, so I bled them and now we're good to go!
Unless something drastic happens we might make it to Nov without putting it on. House faces SE and that's giving us plenty of free warmthI removed the shell from my racing snail, but now it's more sluggish than ever.4
