It looks like late September in a bad year out there, but it's not cold. It just reminds me of what is to come, along with dark nights. Last night I could have done with aircon during those thunderstorms!
There's a yellow weather warning locally this evening.

We had the central heating on several occasions in June.  Am disabled now u fortunately and can't move around so much to keep myself warm as ai would have done in the past but it goes against the grain to have heating on in the summer months doesn't it.   I still have my woollen knee rug hand by my armchair too !
I am drinking coffee to keep myself awake and am much more comfortable under a furry blanket.

29th of July and I am desperate to flick the switch on my central heating. Except its not possible as my boiler isn't plumbed in atm.

I'll have to stick to snuggling under blankets.

We are using a fan here too.
  • No heating here but I have got full length pyjamas on. Still have the summer duvet on though. Went to a friend’s house for lunch and was absolutely boiling the whole time but it’s cooling down in the evenings more now.

  • 31st August and wfh I am so tempted to stick the heating on. Regrettably my new boiler hasn't yet been plumbed in so a HWB will have to do.

I'm going to put mine on later on, it's pretty cold today and I need to test it to make sure it is actually working...that's my excuse...
