Same now but really started to feel it today so we might be "on" and tomorrow.

Very much on at the moment, set to 17 degrees, with thick duvet, throw on top and a a jumper to keep arms warm.

Looks like we're in for a cold winter :(

I think this must be the longest into the year that our heating has remained on.  I’m hopeful for next week though!

Ours has still been on too , along with the thermal vest !
And my  tomatoes, over-enthusiastically planted outdoors last week because they were getting leggy, are still covered up too.   Hoping to unwrap them today and take a chance.

Our heating as a whole has been off since the start of April (heating our house costs a fortune we couldn't afford to keep it on longer)  however we are turning on individual radiators as and when they are needed.

The Men are starting to take the rendering off on tuesday and i should have a new thermal coating on the house by the end of June so fingers crossed next year it will cost us less!

We've been lighting one of our wood burning stoves most evenings which is unprecedented in the time since we had them fitted shortly after buying our house in Feb 2018.

Otoh, we only had the oil-fired central heating on a couple of times throughout the whole winter 😉

    • Its July
    • I am freezing
    • I do not live in Australia
Reconcile the 3 statements because I sure as heck can't! I want to flick the switch on my heating sooo badly but cannot bring myself to do it, not in July! The other option is do some aerobic exercise, take a hot shower and go to bed. But I'm not 80 yet either  :#

It looks like late September in a bad year out there, but it's not cold. It just reminds me of what is to come, along with dark nights. Last night I could have done with aircon during those thunderstorms!

GCH not been on since May. Only used about £11 of gas for the whole of June for hot water. Winning.

We had the central heating on several occasions in June.  Am disabled now u fortunately and can't move around so much to keep myself warm as ai would have done in the past but it goes against the grain to have heating on in the summer months doesn't it.   I still have my woollen knee rug hand by my armchair too !
