Not to me, 3 bed terrace £151. Double glazed, full loft insulation, gas heating. Will give me a severe purse ache when the really cold weather comes.
Ceilings to the blessed moon though and single wall construction. And two kids and a OH that leave EVERYTHING on, and think we own our own laundry.0 -
Been in since 5.30pm to find the place felt OK. Heating about to come on any minute now - 7.00pm - and will be on until 10.00pm.
Radiator set to '3' and Thermo set at 20deg.0 -
Strangely no heating required this evening. It is a very mild evening 8 miles north of Glasgow.Make £10 per day in May challenge: £310/123.920

fire on for an hour earlier on today and is back on now. It has been 11 degrees outside today and ok indoors for most of the day.
I dont like a hot bedroom so if it a bit chilly later I will put the electric blanket on0 -
OFF, thanks to an electric blanket at bed time. So far running costs are a lot less than it'd take to heat my room
At most it works out at about £2 a week if I leave it on all night, which I have done on purpose to find out exactly how much it could get to.
I had to throw off my covers and turn it off the other night as I got too hot!.....that's unheard of on my room even in summer!0 -

I have just given up with the nagging sadly, you have more backbone than me. Just drove me nuts doing all the shouty stufft.
Wander around now turning stuff down, turning stuff off and harrumphing a lot.0 -
Still on constant throughout the day...but keep turning thermostat up and down as required so not actually on all the time.
Still no rads on upstairs as just not needed, in fact have had the windows open last couple of days and back door open until late.Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.0
