It's on a lot more here now rather than just the timer few hours. However then I feel too hot and open the doors and windows, not very MSE but I like the air coming in. The days still seem to be a mix of cold and then nice so it's a constant on/off scenario. It was cold this morning, but now the sun is out its quite nice so just switched it off again.Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.0

Off here still, though OH was saying yesterday that it'll have to go on soon as he's cold. I'm 7mnths pg, so maybe I have my own micro-climate, but I'm ok with a few jumpers during the day. It wasn't such a struggle getting to November this year, so am just seeing how much further we can get ( but will be sure to get it on before the frost, as the saving will be countered by expensive repairs if we end up with a burst pipe!)
We're in North Hants, & it's still quite variable here. Yesterday was really quite cold outside at times, so I had a couple of fleeces on, but it was pleasant out of the wind when the sun peeked through. Have washed OH's DCs today, and most of my flowers are on the way out ( house has been like a florist for a fortnight), so I may light the fire for an hour or two when OH gets home, and get double-duty out of it ( keeping him warm, hence stopping him thinking about putting the heating on & helping to dry his trainers at the same time!0 -
Thick frost here overnight, a few miles north of Glasgow, very cold so heating on for at least part of the day. :jMake £10 per day in May challenge: £310/123.920

No heating on here today although DH would have wanted it on. I am always roasting hot so he is very good and just goes and layers up as he says it's easier for him to get warm than it is for me to cool down. Living room at 18.9 which is just right for me0

Currently 63.5f (17.5c) in my living room.
Sun, shining in the window, makes it feel warmer.0 -
Cold wind here in Wiltshire, house 18c which isn't to bad we just need a extra layer on and it's fine.Every day it's off is a bonus, when it gets to minus silly it will go on in the mornings otherwise I will have a problem getting out of bed and having a shower Brrrrr.0

Mine is programmed to come on if it drops below 18 degrees and it keeps it at 18. Rarely have to turn it up higher. I have my tumble drier in the bathroom so if i put a load on just before the kids have a bath, the bathroom is nice and toasty. 2 birds with one stone. :j

Chilly and wet here in North Lincolnshire - we have relented and put the heating on for an hour in the morning principally because otherwise the bathroom is like the artic and having a pre-work shower at 6.30am is only bearable if there is a bit of warmth percolating through the radiator.:heartpuls The best things in life aren't things :heartpuls

Still off here. I was quite cold earlier today, so decided to change the bed sheets instead of putting the heating on. It did the trick
Oh, and eating spicy food helps as well0
