Decs have been put away - hurrah!
Hubby has gone running in the woods (he has trail shoes so won't fall over, kids are still next door. So I'm going to do 20 minutes Pilates, then quick shower and hair do before I make dinner and tackle the ironing.

All in all, a good day. Mission accomplished :D

Oops sorry Macgirl, was that the first post I had made. I lurk so much I forget to introduce myself and ask if you mind me joining in.
You are so dedicated, pilates, fat busting, running. I must make a start on exercise. Well other than exercising my wrists on this keyboard that is.

I know KM! I was thinking "blimey, am I going to have to return the favour and have them for 27 hours too?"

It was their friend's birthday, so they made a weekend of it. I'm a 2 hour party girl myself. Think I need to up the ante :o

Well I got 80% of the ironing done, so that'll do. It's been a nice weekend of not doing much, but getting on top of things. And did another 20 mins of my Pilates DVD :A

    Flat stomach here I come!

Night all, have a good week :) x

No introductions required - we "know" each other from Hypno and KC's diaries anyway :)
Everyone's welcome, though I'm still surprised anyone reads!:D

You're so active, macgirl! You think you didn't do much, but you did the bathroom and all the bedrooms really thoroughly, as well as nearly all of your ironing! And Pilates. And running. So yes, very much a diary I *need* to read, to get me to the point where I want to do this stuff, and *do* do it :)

They are Taxi. This evening I told my neighbour not to expect a 27 hour party. She said she planned to have an emergency, give the kids to me, then go away for the weekend! :rotfl:

She might not want to leave them with me - I'm going to get banged up for commiting harry-carry against my youngest (joke for anyone reading who doesn't know her form). Honestly, she never ceases to amaze me with her ways  I can't go on about it, but suffice to say all I want to do is drink a bottle of wine and eat biscuits to calm down :(

Anyway, to money. Spent 60p today so not bad. Had an NSD yesterday and Saturday if I exclude £36 for little DD's swimming lessons.
Off to check the bank accounts now.

Hope anyone reading has had a good day :)
  • Hi Mac not going to ask what little DD been up to but I was wondering how she behaves for others as your neighbours didn't cut her visit short at the weekend so she must do you proud once shes out of the house?

OH KM, you're my parenting guardian angel! :A

She was fine and well behaved at the weekend. She is just so headstrong and sometimes no matter what you do for her - it's wrong. She asks for black, then wants white and swears that's what she wanted. Kicks off, shouts, stomps, makes a fuss about *everything*. Nightmare and on a Monday - it's exhausting.

I have certainly learnt to be patient since I've had her, but each time - she tests it to the limit. Everyone agrees that she is a handful. Luckily her big sister is very easy going and a delight! :)
