Thank you!
It's started well - I managed to haul myself out for a run :j Only about 3 miles - but exercise nonetheless! I bought an exercise ball yesterday too, so will do some abs work later (maybe :D)
Dishwasher on, washer on and dryer on (I don't have a clothes line yet, but it's been too damp to dry clothes outside - that's my excuse anyway
Today is the usual round of gymnastics, ballet and swimming. We usually have my friend's little girl for lunch between lessons, but not today. Then my brother and his son are calling.
After that I'll try and do some more pruning. There is a huge climbing rose that my MiL reckons has been neglected for years, so it will take a while to sort it out. I don't mind though, I find it very therapeutic.
As for the picture, when I measured the dimensions it will be rather big and now I'm having second thoughts....so I'll have to think about it.
Have a good day to those reading0 -
well done on the run and other stuff0

Hope you can find something from that site that hits the spot - watch the delivery dates tho!
The day sounds nice - and I'm more determined than ever to get rid of my massive rhodendrons, I'll let a little one that isn't quite waist height stay on - but the big one is towering over the hazel and the mahonia, and I can't see the sparrows and bluetits that I *know* are in the hazel, eating little licheny things.
Have a good one!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Thanks KC
I've given the gardening a miss today, but might venture out tomorrow. I did finish my window boxes, so at least there's a bit of Winter cheer!
We've cleaned the house and done a few loads of washing, so that'll do for today. We're now all curled up in front of Harry Potter - the perfect Saturday afternoon activity.
After ballet I went with a friend to look at curtain fabrics. She spends silly money on that kind of thing and was looking at one that was £100 a metre  Even in my spendaholic days I'd never have spent that.
The curtains in our living room were donated by my sister from her student house and they drive me mad as they're too short. My Mum made them and they are quite nice natural linen, though are only 3/4 length and I want them full.
So, I've decided that rather than spends a few £100's on new ones next year, I'm going to buy some contrast fabric (one that I really like but is expensive when buying 11 metres).
I'll sew it to the top and add new lining and interlining, so should be able to do it for about £100 :money: I was going to nip out later today, but my brother's on his way so might do it tomorrow.0
