Whoo Hoo! Just sold something on Ebay! I quoted my Buy It Now price a bit too low, but a bird in the hand and all that0

mentally too tired to post - that sums me up too! Hurrah, though, for DD being a bit better this week. That must make things a fair bit easier for you.

Glad parent's evening was good, it must be difficult if one child is more demanding, so good that DD1 is doing well.

Hello
I haven't posted for a few days as I've had a really carppy week and didn't have anything positive to say.
My In-Laws are up this weekend, which I'm really looking forward to as I get on great with my MiL. She's very wise with a cry sense of humour to match her son's. The kids adore my FiL so they are beside themselves too.
So of course I am busy busy busy. I completely forgot that I had a hiat appt this morning to get my roots done, so was there from 9.30 until 12
I still had to do the supermarket shop, so got home at 1ish.
Now, I have to make a chicken casserole (when I've found a suitable recipe), then make my choc and pecan tart (I do like to set myself a challenge!) AND put the shooping away AND clean the house, that they haven't seen yet.
All before 3pm when I have to leave to collect the girls  Better get the oven and my skates on.
Hope all's well with those reading0 -
Oh my god! Well, visiting in laws that you *like* is positive - but you've had an awfully busy morning! Hope it all goes really well, lots of hugs, you sound like you've been sinking a bit. Hope this weekend will buoy you up some.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Phew..............and, relax
I got everything done, casserole was delicious by all accounts - bit hard to tell when I've not tried it(I don't eat meat).
Pecan tart was delish too, though I didn't realise my MiL doesn't eat nuts :wall: so luckily I'd bought a marked down baked cheesecake in Sainsbury's - cha-ching!
The kids went a bit wild, which is not what I needed - 2 hours before DH arrived home! We all had a good catch-up so that was nice. They don't stay with us as my FiL has very bad arthritis and can't negotiate stairs very well, so they left an hour ago and will be back tomorrow.
My MiL is a very knowledgeable gardener, so she's going to advise me tomorrow on what's what and what to prune etc :T I do enjoy gardening so I hope the weather behaves itself.
A chilled out weekend is exactly what I need. This week has been horrid at work and when I arrived home last night to a message from an agency, I was very tempted to call them. Pity I was too busy today
Anyway, that's to worry about on Monday, for now it's the weekend and I hope you all have a good one
Ps, forgot to mention that DD has not been sick all week! :j0
