Just back via Pizza Express. It was spur of the moment, so committed the cardinal MSE sin - no vouchers :o

Had a good day though, the kids had a ball, but it's been a long one. I still haven't started the ironing, so will have to do that when the kids have gone to bed.

Can't believe the weekend is over :( I would soooooo love a few days off just mooching about at home....
    Hope everyone's had a good day :)

Well, one glass of red wine and I'm wiped out. I'm such a lightweight these days!

So, I'm going to carry little DD up to bed as she's asleep on the sofa after her busy day - bless, then sort the uniforms etc for the week ahead.

Have a good evening and good week to those reading xx

Ended up falling asleep on the sofa, then woke with a start remembering the girl's school coats were soaking wet in the washer
So jumped up, chucked them in the dryer, then ironed all the school uniforms watching "Parenthood". A nice lightweight film for a lightweight on a Sunday evening :D

Can't say I'm looking forward to going to work tomorrow - I'd love to wag it, but that's not going to happen!

    Night night x

    Hello, what a looooong day.
I felt shattered all day but have had a very busy and productive evening!

I really don't want the paper clutter to overwhelm me in this house, so tackled it tonight. Whilst doing so, I found the house insurance policy for the old house and will cancel that tomorrow and get a rebate :money:
Little DD is still sharing with her sister, so her room hasn't really been sorted yet. Tonight I've done 15 minutes of decluttering in there - which turned into 30 mins, so will do a bit each night until it's done.

It feels good to be organised, even though my eyes feel heavy. I've even done some laundry :j

Just off to apply for DD1's junior school place online (where does the time go :o), then might have an early night.

It is a good idea to start afresh with the paper clutter - I am hoping for a similar "new broom" when I move, which I am sure will be much easier to keep on top of rather than the constant chipping away at masses of accumulated stuff that I currently have!

I am sure your new home will soon be as you want it - and that you will enjoy living there for many years to come. Good news on the house insurance policy too.

    Have a good day x
