Try down the side of your bed.

    xx

Done. Twice - still no joy :(

The problem is that it's a new house so I don't have a "rhythm" if that makes sense? Once I'm bedded, in I'll have set places where I naturally will leave things like my mobile, so I'll know where to look. If only it was fully charged I'd have had half a chance. Ho hum.

I reckon I've put it on top of a box, then it's slipped inside and I've moved the box. Of course, in 5 years time when I've unpacked - I'll find it! :rotfl:

Ooops - Kev's up next. Hope it's not a tearjerker like last week....

    Hello!
Searched and searched for the blessed mobile - to no avail. Looked in all coat pockets four times over, in boxes, laundry, toys etc etc. (I may have thrown it in the bin :o That has been known - I threw my passport away once!)

BUT to get it in perspective, it is only a phone, so I'll get another SIM and use one DH keeps as a spare for times like these. It's just that it has become my phone book and means of all communication, so it's like a lifeline has been cut - but it can be remedied :)

Thanks all for your positive comments and welcome Positive Attitude ;)

Sooooo glad it's the end of my working week. I'm lucky to love my job but the last 2 days have been tough. Today I had to console a colleague who was sobbing uncontrollably about work and is usually so easy-going and contained. People can be so unnecessarily mean, harsh and hurtful. It's just insecurity on their part - and that's the boss!!!

After work, I collected the girls and made tea, then went to school to a meeting about behaviour. It was very interesting and is basically about praising good behaviour and ignoring bad. Obviously, I was VERY interested in this after little DD's shenanigans :D So I've got a few useful phrases to utilise - though I may need a jar of Valium to remain so calm and positive and never raise my voice

Went to M&S for lunch with said colleague and in a grand gesture I paid (why am I so generous when I can't afford it??? :wall:). Luckily, she gave my half the money but said she appreciated my kindness - bless. So £6 spent :o but it was a mission of mercy.

Hope you had a good day :)

Hi Taxi, hope you're feeling ok at the moment :)

I realise that didn't quite make sense when I wrote it, but it was my boss who did the upsetting - but is blissfully unaware, it seems.
If that's power - I don't want it. I could never belittle a person in that way.

The good thing is that an hour away from the office, did my friend the World of good.
