Insurance is a nuisance..glad you're sorted though.0

Morning, mac - did you manage to get the insurance done ok? I hope that today is less stressful for you. Insurance sorted, expensive but the cheapest I could find online. I usually let them ring me and knock £50 off their quote saying I've had a better offer and do it that way, but becuase our phone was disconnected for a dew days, I missed their call and almost forgot it was due
Anyway, all sorted.
Coming home this evening I thought I might do some weeding and garden tidying, but now I'm so tired all of a sudden, that I'm just going to slob. Think it's because I'm weaning myself off sugar - apparently it's more addictive than heroin _pale_
Moneywise, all's well with the bank. Back in the black (well of my O/D) and will have enough to start paying that down this month.
I also paid in some cheques to our joint account and declared our final meter readings to Scottishpower to be told we're getting a £373 rebate :j
Going to do some of MG / Mr Big's challenges tonight.0 -
Good morning - raining and pitch black here and apparently only 12 weeks to :xmastree:
I woke early as I've mislaid my mobile and have been wracking my brain as to where it is.......It's also now dead, so it's like looking for a needle in a haystack! It could be in any number of boxes
I have checked my bank accounts :A and nothing has changed since last night. I need to contact the respective peeps about the returned DD's and hope that hasn't done any harm....
Right off to play "hunt the phone" then shower and work.
Have a good day to anyone reading0 -
Good luck with finding the phone, and well done with the big repayment from the leccy company and keeping the accounts in order!
As for the reminder of Christmas........thanks :rotfl:
Although actually I did buy my first present at the weekend, so I have made a start, and I did send an email off for some charity Christmas cards yesterday, so maybe I am more geared up for it than I thought.....lol

Morning,
good luck with finding the phone. I keep losing mine under the car seat, and it takes ages to find it, as its either switched off or silent while I'm driving.

Still no phone
How sad that it's become my lifeline with all my numbers on and so important in my life!
I found out today funnily enough, that I'm getting an iphone through work :j A nice treat but I still have the task of putting in all the numbers from my bill and asking "who is this please?!" to find the owners!
Had to buy a present for one of my best friends today, so didn't manage a No Spend - fingers crossed for tomorrow.
Tonight will be flicking between The Apprentice and Grand Designs, then my favourite Mad Men at ten and not much else!:D:D

Ta
Yes, I love iplayer too. I fell asleep in front of Mad Men last week, so watched it again. It's my favourite thing on the telly so to watch GD before is double whammy.
I have to say I love Alan Sugar too - growly bear that he is!0 -
Try down the side of your bed.
xxNevertheless she persisted.0
