Hope you're catching up on your sleep, macgirl - and hurray to Mr EH for just getting it the way you like it for now, rather than putting off life to do it from the ground upwards!

And I love Auntie Gok too - I think he's wonderful, if a bit mad :D

    Hello

Glad it's the end of the working week for me - I'm shattered. Early starts and sleepless nights have taken their toll this week. I was meant to be eating out at a Lebanese restaurant tonight, but my friend is not feeling too well, so is calling for coffee instead. After that it will be an early night.

Last night I kicked off my Spring wardrobe with a couple of new pieces! Got cashback from Quidco and 25% off a pair of chinos - key item of the season - so :money:

MOT tomorrow, plus a service and then car tax at the end of the month :o Fingers and toes crossed it will pass and the expense will be minimal - though it will be at least £120....
needs must, as I can't get to work without it and can't afford another one just yet.

Right off to put the kettle on. Hope life's treating you well if you're reading :)

Feel a bit like I want to crawl into a hole today. Life is just constant. I know it's because of PMT and tiredness, but I feel quite overwhelmed this week and on a bit of a downer :(

The house is a tip, but I have to drop the car off at the garage this morning, then walk uphill for half an hour to get home. The cold is biting today, really freezing, so I'm not looking forward to that, but I'm hoping the walk will shake the blues away...

If that doesn't, I'm going for a facial - so that should do the trick :D Then I promised my Mum we'd go out for lunch, but really I'd rather come home and sort the house out. Boring I know, but I'd feel better knowing it's done and out of the way so I can enjoy the weekend (of ballet, swimming, parties and school disco - JOY!)

Shopping is on the agenda but for once, I'm going to do a proper meal plan for the week first. I'm taking advantage of Ocado's £15 off and giving them a whirl. I'm still trying to crack my sugar addiction, so am trying a combination of 2 [STRIKE]diets[/STRIKE] eating plans, which cut it out and replace with realistic alternatives.

Right, best be off. Have a good day to anyone reading :)

    Thanks you 2, I'm fine.
Just, life is weird isn't it? But I have nothing to complain about and everything to be thankful for, so I've kicked myself up the bum and am dusted down ready for the rest of the day :)

The facial was bliss :A It's my indulgence once a month - and a last attempt to hold back the years :o Anyway, whilst lying there, I planned the meals for the week, so will finish my order and get that delivered this weekend. I need to have a whizz round hoovering and tidying, then I'll feel better. I need to remind myself that the sky won't fall in if the house is not spring-cleaned every week. However DD1 has her best friend from nursery days coming over on Sunday and her bedroom is a TIP, so I will tackle that tomorrow. Sometimes I really am my own worst enemy.....

Right a quick coffee, clean, wash hair, then I'll walk into town and meet my Mum.

Thanks for caring, it means a lot :)

glad you enjoyed the facial but sorry you're a bit down.
am glad you realise that you are hard on yourself as you say the house doesn't need a spring clean every week.
try and have a relax with your mum as it'll do you good

Thanks Taxi, I'm fine really. Just tom is taking it's toll this month I don't know why. I'm usually *abit* snappy, but this month I'm losing my rag with the kids over nothing and I don't like that :( I keep apologising and explaining that I feel grumpy but it's not their fault. I don't want them to be scared of me and sometimes they look it :o

We were at yet another school disco last night and after that the girls and I were in bed at 8.30pm :rotfl: I was SHATTERED! Still feel tired today, but I think it's cos I've slept too long. Not much planned for today, other than the usual and DH said he'd do the ballet lesson run :j:j:j So I might take the papers back to bed and stay there - might keep me out of mischief.

We're off out tonight round to some friends, so other than a couple of bottles of wine, it'll be a cheap night :T :money:

Have a good day if you're reading :)

Oh forgot to mention, in money news my car needed a new shock absorber - thanks to countless pot holes and speed humps  the garage said they keep him in business - I'll bet.
So an MOT, service and shock absorber was £259  Still, cheaper than a new car and he said I've got a good one as there was nothing mentioned to watch on the MOT cert and said that's unusual, so hang onto it. Better stop looking at beemers on autotrader then :rotfl:

Boo to the cost of repairs, and yes speed bumps have a lot to answer for.

    Enjoy your weekend.
