Sounds like a lovely weekend - and all things considered, could have been a whole lot more expensive than it has been so far!!

Enjoy the rest of it :D

Thanks. We've just decided to get a curry tonight - will I EVER be thin? :o

Think I might have to resort to drastic measures - like Carol V or similar. I'm sick of playing the Hokey cokey - 3lbs off, 3lbs on, on off etc etc

Had the curry after much shenanigans with the girls. DD1 thinks she's an adult and wanted some of the takeaway. Then the little one heard the noise and came down stairs saying, wide-eyed "I didn't know we were having a Take-Over!"

"Take Away", I said "Not take-over" to which DH drily replied "Well ironically - it is a take-over":D

It sat on my stomach all night and I had to get up as I felt so uncomfortable. So a day of detoxing I think. I also need to get in my application for the GNR charity place, now I've been paid, so £46 down on my NSD. Then it'll be the humungous ironing basket, a trip to buy a match pot or 3 and out in the garden - weather permitting.

I might even drag myself out for a run. I still haven't been with the Mum's group - TBH I like to go on my own on a Sunday morning :o but will make the effort soon.

Right, off to have a green tea and carrot stick for brekkie, then tackle the ironing. Have a good day :)

Haha, yes KC it was Yum - but they sent chips instead of the rice we ordered  not good. I'm ok now, but have only just got dressed :o:o:o A VERY lazy Sunday, which is quite rare, so I'm not beating myself up, I'm just enjoying it.
DH has gone out to change a pair of jeans and has taken the girls with him :j

I *was* going to finish the never-ending pruning of the climbing rose, but it's just started raining, so sack that.

I have done some stuff though:

    - Cleaned the kitchen - twice - little DD was involved, say no more
    - Done 2 loads of washing and dried them, 3rd load in
    - Tidied the Living Room
    - Done half a large basket of ironing
    - DIY waxed my legs

So, I'm stopping for lunch, then will do the rest of the ironing to something on the Telly that isn't a kids programme. That will do for today!

I hate it when I have something I am looking forward to, like that curry, and then for whatever reason it doesn't end up being quite so enjoyable!

But you have done a reasonable amount so far today - thats not to be sneezed at! Enjoy the rest of your Sunday xxx

Yep, and now I've had lunch I feel very sleepy. I was up for 3 hours in the night, watching "Auntie Gok" I do love him, he's so nice with the ladies who need their confidence boosting.

However, I'm now shattered and the ironing is multiplying, so I might take advantage of a quiet house and have an afternoon kip :o:D

Glad you had a good weekend, agree with hypno its really annoying when some part of your order is wrong, even if you liked the thing that was sent IYKWIM - you feel let down.

Don't beat yourself up about having a bit of a break, after all , you've got decorating to do!

Hello, managed a NSD today, so I'm pleased about that :) Work has been a drain this week though, plus both girls have been waking in the night, so I'm pretty tired.

However, I'm *delighted* to see the first day of Spring! :j:j:j It makes such a difference to go to and from work in the daylight - I love it :) In a few weeks, I'll hopefully be able to do stuff outside after work - hurrah!

I got paid on Friday and so far I've managed to avoid major spends - until my MOT on Friday

As for decorating, I spoke to DH and he said that we'll be in this house for a long time, so for now please can we strip off the wallpaper, paint it and just do things cheaply. That way, we can still make it our own, but conserve cash during uncertain times and while the mortgage is high.

If only I'd listened to him years ago :wall: Sadly, I'm the sort that has to learn the hard way - but at least I have learnt.

Hope everyone reading is well :)
