My healthy eating has started off well too.....I bought a 3 pack of caramel eggs (creme egg size), and only ate two of them, giving the third to DD.

See, it CAN be done :rotfl:

I could do that sort of healthy eating thankfully I haven't touched an egg yet ;)

So glad you had a good night Macgirl and no you are definitely not a bad mummy so don't go there

The juicing sounds interesting but I would be worried about the amount of calories and sugar that are in them and how easily they go down rather than eating the whole fruit so it will be interesting to see how you get on my sweet tooth is starting to reappear so I am eating some Mr. t's low fat choc bars which seem to be enough to keep it at bay.

We have been out in the garden as well - today was the battle of the dogwoods but they are done and look so much better and we have cleared all down the fence ready for the repairs next week so we are getting there. Our rose has no chance of blooming but am hoping the clematis will survive.

LaLaLaLaLaLa - I'm not listening, I'm not listening. ALL chat about chocolate is now BANNED on this diary :D

The juicing is not really part of the "diet", but juiced carrots are recommended and DH couldn't find it in bottles so bought a juicer. We'll definitely use it. I often make smoothies with strawberries, bananas, yogurt and OJ, so it'll be good to get spinach, brocholli and other greens sneaked in there for the kids too.

I am in bed. I feel shattered - probably due to no sugar  and the running and gardening. I filled 7 bags of garden waste, so will ring the council tomorrow to collect them.

Goodnight all and have a good week :) x

Shrove Tuesday and we had ready made pancakes that DH bought last week, so I was very-MSE and used them up rather than wasting ingredients and making my own.
We had them with strawbs and ice cream, so not at all traditional, but still very yummy :D (I'll forget about the sugar content for today :p)

The car tax renewal letter came today £110 for 12 months, but it says in bold that this might not be the price after the budget in 2 weeks. I'll buy it now and hope I don't have to pay extra after the budget is announced :o

Today has been a "Damned if you do, Damned if you don't" kind of day, so I'm glad it's over. I've been in bed early a lot lately due to sleepless nights, so my sleep pattern is all over the place. Tonight though, I have work to do, so better get cracking.
I'm still thinking about decorating and starting the veg patch, but time seems to be slipping away. We have friends coming up at Easter, so I'd like to have the living room done before then and the attic bedroom, which was meant to be DH's home office, but has become a computer graveyard and dead space. So my plan is to get a sofabed up there and make it a useable guest room/ escape room for me!

Anyway, enough dreaming, there's work to be done. Hope anyone reading has had an ok day x

Sounds like you're very busy as usual.Good idea to sort the attic room out and have it as an escape room.

The attic room would be a very good space to achieve, I reckon.....remember, the more uncluttered space you have the more the energy flows.

Yes, I like that idea Hypno. I don't feel there's a "blockage" in this house yet, so before we get too comfortable, I want to make sure each room serves a purpose.

A busy day today. It's appraisal time for us tomorrow, so always a tense day. I should be ok, but past experience has taught me not to count my chickens
The girls both woke for a wee at 2am, so although DH got up with them, I was awake and ended up downstairs watching telly again until 4am :o
My sleeping pattern is seriously messed up over the last couple of weeks, so I'm going to have to get it back on track this weekend.

The kids are at my parent's as my Mum likes to pick them up once a week, so I've put my dinner on and will have a cheeky glass of wine and contemplate tomorrow......
