Those muffins sound delicious!
Re wet wraps, I have to say that although it is an odd sensation, and takes a little getting used to - and is also a chore, with twice daily bathing, cutting of bandanges, creaming up etc taking up a lot of time at the beginning and end of each day - the relief that my DD got was very quick, and so therefore she very quickly didn't mind being in them.
The biggest issue she had was doing PE at school - she could "hide" her bandages under school trousers etc for most of the day, but in PE she was obviously more exposed and some of the comments from other kids was a little hurtful, and had to be dealt with.
She spent 6 months in them, and it did the trick - so much so that afterwards she wanted to be back in her bandages because they felt "cosy".Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Hi
just popping by to see how things are going. your poor little one with her excema, I know exactly how she must feel! I only ever went through phases, and mine was the backs of my knees mainly, but in those days girls wore skirts and boys wore shorts, so there was no hiding the bandages, or the ravaged skin.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Hello, I've made a decision to wind up the diary. TBH thinking and talking about money are my least favourite activities - I only really enjoy spending it
So, whilst I love to while away the hours reading about and talking to my *lovely* virtual friends, I have plenty of real friends and family that need attention too, plus I spend my working life plugged into a computer and really shouldn't be on it so much at home too!
More and more I'm waffling on about "stuff" when really I should be "doing" - life is short and in truth, I've been spending too much of my limited free time on here. Now I am debt free, I feel it's silly for me to have a diary - not that I think others are at all, I love reading them! - but for me, this particular journey is over.
So...I WILL still read and pop in to people's diaries, but I'm going to go back to occasional lurking.
Sincere thanks to everyone who has posted, offered support and given me fantastic advice :kisses3: you'll never know how much I appreciate it :A
And to anyone who lurks, I hope I might have shared something that has helped you. I know I have certainly learnt a whole heap of stuff from this site in the last 7 years and only wish I'd started posting sooner!
