I'm watching the programme about prem babies of 23 weeks - and the debate about whether they should be resuscitated. It's heartbreaking and awe inspiring....
My heart goes out to all those parents and children who have/are going through this. And I thank God for my healthy babies.

Urgh, remind me that drinking on a school night is not advisable :( Feeling a little "heady" this morning to say the least! So REALLY looking forward to my appraisal.

I've had to give myself a good talking to, to make sure I'm not too *challenging*. There are lots of politics at work and I find that very tiresome as I'm a bit of a "tell it how it is" person. I really need to learn to sugar-coat my rhetoric

Urg, hope the appraisal goes really well - didn't you get a nod and a wink a long time back? I bet it will be fine.

Totally with you on not letting dead space happen - its amazing that in this house I use *all* of it, brilliant.

EDIT - just remembered that as far as I'm concerned the understairs cupboard is the Black Hole of Calcutta, and just as scary. Gurgle. Wibble.

I haven't yet sadly MW - still very much work in progress :( All went sparkling apart from that.
This evening I will be finishing the bottle of wine and going to bed.

    Hope you've had a good day x

Just watching the Tsunami - it's horrifying how powerful Nature can be and how powerless we are....
My sister lived through the quake in LA years ago, that was scary as roads and buildings were devastated, but the sight of the sea taking everything in it's wake looked far worse.
Scary and my heart goes out to them all.

Took DD1 back to the dermatologist today. Her eczema is very bad at the moment, so he's prescribed bandages - dry for now, but he wants to see her in 3 weeks and said wet bandages will be a last resort, as children often don't like the sensation of feeling mummified - I'll bet.

Other than that, we had to pay £80 for repairs to our rental house. I've had my roots done, so another £30 and the week's shopping - plus a couple of skirts and 2 pairs of leggings each for the girls - another £80. Hoping for a NSD tomorrow :o

This weekend we are going to sort through some piles of paperwork. DH forgot to tax his car last month and was in a blind panic this morning looking for his MOT cert  We have a small filing cabinet that my Mum gave us years ago, but somehow got out of the habit. So if I can get on top of that this weekend, it'll be a job well done.

the tsunami is terrifying and heart breaking...it said on the news yesterday that the water travels at 500 mph the equivalent of a jumbo jet..god bless their souls x

poor DD ..that must be awful for her...hope her treatment works quickly for her xx

good luck sorting paperwork out...it's so time consuming

The paperwork remains untouched, so a job for another day. I've been at home for most of the weekend, entertaining an army of kids! Luckily I managed to escape to my friend's for an hour this afternoon.
We got some tester pots today and to be honest, I'm none the wiser which colour to use :o I did get some old paint pots out and did some *upcycling* of old bits of furniture. It's given them a new lease of life and is MSE aswell as environmentally friendly! :A

Some ironing to do and then beddy-byes, as I'm shattered. I am still battling my messed up sleeping pattern, I keep waking in the night for a few hours and end up watching coverage of the dreadful events in Japan - awful. DH is leaving early for a day in London tomorrow, so I'm on the school (breakfast club) run. I only realised at 8pm that I'd pledged to make 24 muffins for a school fund-raiser tomorrow  But I got them made - choc "n" orange and raspberry and White choc - yum!

Right, enough procrastinating - the iron awaits. Have a good week to anyone reading :)
