I always pick up - but at the moment my big prob is : someone is letting their dog into our garden to poo. We have a small fox terrier X who does terrier size poos - but there has been recently alsatian size poos in a part of the garden where ddog never goes. (sorry if this is TMI) We live on a corner site with easily accessible gates - they must be doing it either very early or very late - should I tie up the gates - this is really p***ing me off!

Hi thriftmonster....definately sort out your gates....I'm hoping someone will invent a device to prevent cats from using our back garden as a public convenience! Our pup cowers behind the sofa if a puss comes near, the big woose! lol

been smiling at some of the comments :p

My darling puppy will not poo on walks. She always waits til we get home and goes in the garden - makes it easier to pick up the mess (its now one of DD's chores:rotfl: ) - until about 2 months ago she wouldn't wee either - but she's not bothered now.

Funny - but she's only ever poohed on a walk once - and that was the day after we got her - and she went right on the doorstep of our bank. Was v v tempted to leave it there - but was good and scooped.

Still have pockets full of bags though - as you never know when she might decide to change her habits
