Do you scoop the poop?

Today my toddler and I took the cat to the vets as puss needs an op. Just as we were turning into the gate my daughter fell over and skidded along the pavement. Ok, it's what kids do, she was unhurt so we carried on inside.

We got into the vets, sat down and I thought I sould smell something dodgy. I checked the cat, looked around and noticed that my daughters toy was covered in dog poo. I took it from her and then realised that her coat (brand new on Saturday) Jeans (brand new on Sunday) shoes, and hand were covered in poo. Just then the vet came out and called my name

I was flippin mortified! WHY do people think it's ok to leave their animals s**t on the pavement?

Do YOU scoop the poop?
Just run, run and keep on running!

i even scoop the poop or at least try if the boy has the runs.

    carrying a spoon always helps.

seriously i do scoop if he has an upset tummy. i may not get it as clean as i want but it is always cleaned the best it can be.

thus far my buggy wheels have remained poop free but it is only a matter of time.

I always scoop, although I wonder why I bother when I see all the other dog owners just pretending they havnt noticed what their dog is doing

There's lots of people who bring their dogs to the field next to my house for a [STRIKE]walk[/STRIKE] !!!!!!, and most of them don't bother scooping. I've lost count of the times I've got it all over my shoes.

    Jxxx
And it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end
  • Yes I do. But I didn't like doing it next to a stopped bus full of passengers :(

Absolutely. Though, we are lucky enough to live in Norfolk countryside, so my dogs like to wait until they're in the middle of a field anyway. But if they don't, goodness yes, as there's nothing worse than finding dog pooh on your feet, or anywhere else - unless it's someone else's dog pooh.

Why is that it's distasteful to clean after your own dog, but disgraceful to clean a strange dogs?

    Or is that just me?
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.

Cos the fields generally full of crops, or weeds, or maybe ploughed. Anyhoo, with the possible exception of a tractor, a people ain't gonna step in it.
