I was certain, and I'd warned both these owners more than once.....maybe they'll think twice now."I'm ready for my close-up Mr. DeMille...."0

We don't have a dog, but if we did I would 'Scoop the Poop' as there is a very large risk of bacterial infection from dog's muck - not to mention getting it off of the soles of your shoes:eek:
We do, however, have two cats, who are house-trained to the point of driving you mad:mad: - They will ONLY use the litter tray - not only that, they will only use it when it is in the house - We leave the tray outside, by the back door, during the day - where the cats could easily use it. But no - as soon as we bring the tray in, one of the two will decide it's pony time
Bleedin' Cats    (I love 'em really)I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

I always clean my dogs mess up, on every walk out I go with a carrier bag, doggie bags and kitchen roll, the trouble is the lack of dog waste bins in our area.not even one on the park we use!0

I was told recently that my ex-MIL (who although she's 5-foot nothing, is a proper old battleaxe) once caught a woman letting her big dog do it's business right in her gateway
when the woman went to walk off leaving the poo behind, she politely asked her if she'd clean it up. the woman laughed, told her to eff-off, & began to walk away
ex-MIL picked it up herself, went after the woman & threw it straight at the back of her head ... SPLAT!
funnily enough, she's never seen the woman or her dog round her way since :rolleyes:0

I just happen to have a load of scented nappy sacks which I used, mums dog is a Parsons Russell (Jack Russell Terrier), so small shoval and nappy bag is adequate size and the scented smell helps enormously!
 Sarah:D
I too used to buy nappy sacks but now i get mine from the council.
I just posted a thread on the freebie board. I went my local council/townhall and they gave me a packet with 50 FREE lavender colour bags. ( dont go much on the scent but it's better than poo!
 Hope this is helpful.0

My dog tends to use the back garden for his poop''s. But I still take a nappy bag (have hundreds anyway) just in case. Never had to scoop it yet though....
A neighbors dog is left to run the streets and ALWAYS goes right at our step! And neighbor stands and watches it. So she was told if it does it again its getting flung in her garden, and sure enough, old shovel, poop, and slung it back into her garden!
DS2 has problems walking so he does have to go down steps on his bum, meaning he can't use his own front garden because of that wee... dog....0

We have a real problem with dog mess in our area. My partner told me off the one day because I challenged a lad who let his dog mess on the street then went to walk off. He had bags in his pocket so parents were clearly sending him out expecting him to pick it up...
 I can understand people not wanting to pick it up - I wouldn't! But then that's why I don't have a dog!!!!!0

We always pick up but most people in my area don't council are useless they tell us to follow the offending person home and give them the address so they don't have to do anything0
