Just about to do my first REACT assignment tomorrow but it's gonna be a very busy day and don't think I'd be able to submit the report within 24 hours as I have got other commitments the day after.

Have people submitted their report later than 24 hours and got penalised for it? The notes didn't mention when it should be submitted (unlike others where they specifically say submit reports within 8 to 24 hours!)

You should do the report within 24 hrs

    3. Late submittal of the report onto the system (over 24 hours after the visit was conducted) (1pt)
all you 'lose' is 1 point for late submission, so no worries really.:D

Do have a look at their report rules on that page as you can easily drop points as their style is a bit particular.

I got it too. I'm wondering if they're going to start sending the text messages out at stupid o'clock on a morning again... "Dear Shopper your visit will be checked by CCTV make sure you time it properly". Did they realise it was 6am when they sent them?! :rotfl:

Oh dear god I remember when they did that!! I hope they don't do that again :(

I tried to reply to tell them they'd woke me up and the visit wasn't for another 11 hours but it wouldn't let me :)

I don't mind being woken up at 6am for something important but a text from them saying time your burger properly is taking the mickey!!

Just our of interest - is there any way of seeing where you dropped any marks, I got 9/10 for my last one but don't know where I dropped the point
    Thanks

Ask them, they gave me good feedback when I asked. All daft things really that I should have known/done.

Thank you. I did read the rules once upon a time but it took ages to get a job with them! I will endeavour to submit within 24 hours but need to revise for an interview for a "proper" job!

if you know your going to be late with react i would tell them and be honest... not fair to them either.
  • Sigh, so the laptop is going to be 5-7 days, and thats IF it's even repairable at all.

So I have a few tax questions....

If it's repairable can I claim back the repair costs since I mostly use it for MS'ing nowadays?

Same question if I have to buy a new one - how much of the cost can I put on my self employed expenses?

Also, if anyones been doing any DUK or shooting stars etc recently did you see any good deals on laptops about?

    Thanks

Not sure about the tax questions, but ebuyer have some great deals on laptops - very quick delivery and never had any problems with them! They sometimes have cheaper, but good quality laptops on sale with no operating system - need to buy a separate copy of windows and just literally stick the disc in to load it onto the system! I did it this way and it works out quite a bit cheaper :)

And no, I don't work for them!
