Ha! I still chuckle about that to this day, the wasted £4 was well worth imagining their faces when they read the report rofl!0 -
You know what, I went and made a complete kn*b of myself by doing 2 on Monday. The paperwork is bloody stupid! In one place it clearly says you could have done it from September and then totally different in another part. Obviously, it was my fault for not having checked it properly, but why on earth do companies do these things to trip shoppers up? What a waste of £14. The latte's were all cr*p and so were the horrid cakes!:mad::mad:
But you did check it properly. The front page was clear it was September onwards. So you accepted.
I don't know about you, but once you finetooth comb the dates when accepting, you don't bother to re check the dates on the brief.
I only spotted it as I realised I couldn't be bothered to drive out to do the shop - the jobs I was due to do (and get paid for) were in a retail park miles away from the town centre and I figured I couldn't be faffed doing the job when I'd have to pay out of my own pocket for expensive parking on a job with no fee.
When I cancelled the job, I clicked on the drop down menu and low and behold the dates were from Saturday onwards - so I went back to the brief and spotted it there.
Hope you can brace yourself for another minging coffee and cake and not feel too bitter about it...think of the stamps on the loyalty card!Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

Just about to do my first REACT assignment tomorrow but it's gonna be a very busy day and don't think I'd be able to submit the report within 24 hours as I have got other commitments the day after.
Have people submitted their report later than 24 hours and got penalised for it? The notes didn't mention when it should be submitted (unlike others where they specifically say submit reports within 8 to 24 hours!)
I don't think it matters as long as the results are put in before the due date0 -
Oh great, my scanner/printer does choose it's bloody moments to break!! :@
As if the long and tedious RE report isn't bad enough without technical difficulties at the end!
And I have so much stuff I need to print for tomorrow tooHalf of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -
I printed out over 80 sheets last night (jobs for next few days) and thought my printer was going to die. Heaven help me if DH finds out I have printed so much - he hates my MS.Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

Just done the report, and nowhere did it ask me for any receipt details, or details of what I purchased. Is this right or have I missed something out?0 -
Just been helping hubby type up his supermarket electrical department report. Sounded dreadful - took ages to find the right staff, and everytime he spotted one and tried to approach, they kept disappearing into the customer lift (happened several times!). Had the Benny Hill theme tune in my head as I was imagining the scene.........
When he finally pinned one down (literally), they told him they knew everything about the product and then proceeded to escape at the first opportunity!
Are they all this bad? I did the same store last month, got the same guy and he was absolutely pants. Makes you wonder what the point of the mystery shopping is :huh:January 2012 GC £296.96/£3000 -

I had the same email. I think it is just a gentle reminder to everyone which is fair enough. I suspect there are some chancers out there who don't bother to use a timer or think they can bring someone along with them to the assignment.
Yep I had the same one, it's not the first time I've had one either. Not done a burger for a long time so it's not specific.0 -

In a word. Yes.
I've done all my local ones several times and they are slightly improving... It's a very slow process though!
Having said that I think a lot of the reasons behind them being a bit rubbish is the training they've had or rather haven't had...0 -

I got it too. I'm wondering if they're going to start sending the text messages out at stupid o'clock on a morning again... "Dear Shopper your visit will be checked by CCTV make sure you time it properly". Did they realise it was 6am when they sent them?! :rotfl:0
