I've just had to reschedule my jobs for today - GR were very, very understanding. No way I'm going out, our road is completely covered over, car would need digging out and I don't want to get stuck on the roads for hours if it snows again.

And nursery/school closed, so that put paid to any thoughts that I might get out!

I had 3 booked for today, and have cancelled them. Not risking my life for the safe of a mobile phone, sandwich and coffee!

Just had a bit of a giggle with one MS company as one client added some locations in Kent yesterday to be done by TODAY (Guess they don't listen to weather reports). They are requesting extensions

Finally picked up a job at Heathrow for next Thursday -still not got breakfast paid for though-Unheard of !! If anyone sees any Terminal 3 food jobs please nudge me.

Right off out to do one shop on foot then back in the warm- I have so many layers on I look like the Michilen man

Cancelled all my jobs for today - GR were lovely, and have said we will take it day by day, bless them.

Bare - they knew the answer before I did lol! Everyone she has rung today has said the same, and considering they are not even based in the UK have been more understanding than some that are!

Spoke to one MS co today and I swear she didnt believe me, but considering there is NO traffic on the roads today (neighbour tried to get out today and his van is stuck at the top of the track) and all of the main roads into the towns are closed then I wish her luck if she wants to try someone else!

Surely all of the account managers must realise that its not that we dont want to do them its just that the weather has stopped everything! I would imagine that their clients would understand too!!

So snowman building day today, have spent an hour this morning digging out the chickens (they are seriously unimpressed with the snow!) and another half an hour laughing at the dogs running through the snow like salmon swimming upstream!

Just a quick note in case someone hasn't seen this amongst the other weather-related news, Edinburgh Airport is shut until 6pm at the earliest.

My chooks are also very unimpressed...not come out of the greenhouse for days and it's only getting worse...

Sat at work and it's been snowing heavy for over an hour. Asked my boss, is there a point where non essential staff are sent home (i.e. ME!).

Her responce,...oh....ur....don't no....i've packed my over night bag (she lives a while away).

Well, thats all very well but you don't pay me enough to sleep in the office love, and you can find me a shovel to dig my car out or pay for me a taxi.

I don't know whether i'll even be able to get home but not gonne spend the night in the office lol
