Has anyone any advice for the chemist audits on gfk - are they worth it for the fee - it sounds like it'll take longer than they suggest ?
    Thanks

In my experience they take 1-2 hours, then you have to write up etc. I have only done a couple though, works out about nmw I think.

  • Hi to those with video equipment and are experienced in that type of mystery shop, especially eating place experience. I do some work for a small mystery shopping company and they require this type of visit for one of their projects. I do not have video recording equipment and don't think I would recoup the outlay. If you are interested and live around the London, Darlington or Durham area PM me and I'll give you their contact details. A good company to work for but like quality over quantity.

Thanks for response re cancelling. First job with Amber Arch, so hope they (or she?) doesn't get the wrong impression about me...

I had to cancel a job with them today, she was fine, I think she understood the predicament with the weather as shes in the midst of it in Durham.
  • Does anyone do any work for Precision? I've been looking for a place to register / express interest on their website.

    Hi everyone

I have to say I have been a bit of a lurker on this thread for some time and I thought the time had come to dip a toe in.. so HI

I have 2 quick questions. 1 Which companies would you all recommend applying with for a beginner? 2 I am trying to apply to Qdos and wondering when they say do I mind if they use my address for mailings is that assignments or unwanted mail?

    Thanks in advance

I've done one job for QDOS and they're really nice. If you don't mind having mail come, say yes and if you do, say no. They would ask in advance anyway. Two companies use me to test how quickly posted things arrive and it's no hassle.

Thanks yonk. I wanted to check I could imagine ticking the box then finding thousands of letters erupting when I checked my mail. :rotfl:

I know it's been getting like that for me tonight! It gets to the point where you are half way through one and you look at the novella you've written and start thinking there should be a rate of pay for the applications lol

I think we have been trying a bit hard

Wish you the best with your first assignment. I'm sure you'll be fine :)
