Weather is bad again here. Schools are off, so I'm going to have to move dates again.
Had a nice lunch time restaurant to do with hubby that I was really looking forward toHere I go again on my own....0 -
I've cancelled the few jobs I had. Measured 16 inches of snow on my garden table. Thats another 2 inches from yesterday. Hibernation. Zzzzzzzz!0

I think there's been another foot here, West Lothian/Falkirk border. My garden is level with my kitchen and normally there are steps down and my front fence has gone. Even the towbar on the van has a little pile of snow on it. Just about to try to let the chooks out of the eglu, wish me luck, I may be some time...0

Just been out and measured what is lying on our patio and it is 17" (West Lothian), I am working from home today and BF is waiting to hear about his work (I have a 4x4 so he should be able to get out if needbe). It is snowing again..
I had a chicken drive thru and a garage booked for today both of which have been postponed...0 -
Yesterday was fun-NOT
Son tried to get to college in Tonbridge by train -when he called me from halfway to say he was backtracking to try a different route after nearly 2 hours I told him to forget it and come home . I decided to brave the trains myself as I had some appropriately named freezer shops and station jobs. Nearly didn't get home again for my "real" job on the phone-but made it by the skin of my teeth although no time to write up reports-then walked a mile and a half to a focus group .
College is shut today, so I'll venture to my local high street (on foot) for another frozen food -and the rest can wait til tomorrow (further afield but all on one train route and think there's still broken down trains on the lines around here)-work from home this afternoon then head out for the focus group again (3 day one-at least it involves alcohol) Thank goodness I have decent snow boots
Missed a call from RE at about 7.30 last night-probably as well I didn't speak to them if it was the proofreaders LOLI Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
MSE Florida wedding .....no problem0 -

Most new laptops/notebooks have an in-built Wifi widget thingybob
Thanks for response re cancelling. First job with Amber Arch, so hope they (or she?) doesn't get the wrong impression about me...
East coast trains have FREE Wifi (In first Class only!)
The Wifi in Cattle class has to be paid for IIRC.
It is very patchy though.:cool:0 -

I have 5 Death shops booked for today. Would probably end up a customer driving on the roads around here and Glasgow today! Will try again tomorrow.0

Have made the decision to cancel all jobs today, it is not worth the risk, even though it is not snowing at the moment looking at the chaos on the roads last night it only takes one shunt to shut everything for hours. Hard choice but perhaps the companies will give a little leeway due to the weather?
Plenty of surveys though! No Matter what you do there will be critics.0 -
