Is it me or has the number and quality of Mystery Shopper visits deteriorated over the past eighteen months? I used to get a couple of restaurant visits every three months or so, with maybe a pub visit thrown in. Very occasionally, a hotel visit would wing its way to me. Nowadays all I seem to be offered are Fast Food Places, Airport Airside Visits and DIY Stores! One company has not given me any visits since I refused to do eight Mobile Phone Store Assessments including photographs and talking to the Manager, covering a journey of one hundred and forty five miles, all in a day! I was told that it was easily achieved! When I queried the lack of visits I was told that it was my imagination.
I am very close to giving the whole lot up. I would say that it would be more for everyone else, but as I get so little I don't expect that the difference would be noticed! To Dare is To Do:beer:0 -
Just a random thought..
Is anyone MSPA certified? And is it worth getting a certificate?
I am MSPA silver certified and for some international companies it means you are guaranteed to be accepted. Most UK only companies dont bother with it, but the rest do.
It didnt take long tbh and once you have it you have it for life, you can only do up to silver here, and they are STILL awaiting a European equivelant.

I began feeling that way, but then I joined a few more companies, and started being selective by stopping the small fee fast food jobs and did a few more quality ones with higher fees. Feel my time goes further now.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

That's good advice, if you are selective and accept less assignments with small fees and big reports it frees you up to accept more lucrative ones when they come along/research and apply to better companies. This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
