Beccles I tried getting to edinburgh this morning.. and couldn't get out i have so much work its making me feel ill.
I got 5 miles up the road and had to turn around. I woudn't be risking it my husband said roads are worse then yesterday the plows have just made it slick.
I only had the two jobs booked and the company were lovely, still gave me a stress headache! Hate not doing stuff I said I would.
Have to say Jen, you're my hero! :T0 -
No mystery shopping booked till tomorrow but got my bum into work and co-worker isn't here! gotta plan esso tankers for the entire country all on my own :mad:I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!0

If anyone is in Aberdeen centre, I've put back a lovely meal on secret eating, they were good about it, but with no prospect of me going anywhere soon they offered to take it off me and if I get mobile I can accept again, tho to be honest, its 120 mile round trip so if anyone near better they have it0

For a meal with no fee nor travel expenses? I assume it's with Mystery Dining Co?
Where's the logic ?0 -
This would probably be behind the change to bank payments over cash.
It gives them a lot more flexibility on payment levels.
Depressing.:(
As long as it isn't a 'tester' to see the impact before they start reducing other rates  (which it probably will be) although there are some where its not really worth doing as it is (not thinking of any Department store restauarnts in particular).0 -

Just phoned Gap to cancel a job for today (was very nervous about it having read reports on here) and they were so lovely...0

Hello serendipity2706
I'm nearer Aberdeen and would have loved the job but there is so much snow here that I'm going to stay snuggled up inside! Plus, the kids are off school so wouldn't be able to do any jobs anyway. Thanks for the info though.

Guess what??
Another proofreading question from RE on the same visit about a question they did not ask!
Thank you for your reply, however you have not replied to our query. We are asking for the approximate height of both the staff members you came into contact with.
Please provide their approximate heights in feet and inches. Thank you.
I have replied saying I answered the question they asked, which was how many staff, but sadly cannot answer a question they did not ask, as not being psychic, don't know what it is! (I did give the height of one of them, but the other was behind a desk so couldnt tell)0 -
I tried to get to (proper) work this morning by train - cancelled due to frozen points so had to get BF to come and rescue me in (my) 4x4 and drive me to the office to get paperwork then drop me back at home to "work from home".
The really annoying thing was I went to get a coffee at a garage whilst waiting for him and I know I have a MS been allocated to me there for later in the week.. buying a coffee :mad:0
