3) memorybits hasn't got competition. It is a non-trading company by its own admission, at least it is until they get their systems back up & running.
By the way do ROK Group know that ROK Group have borrowed their name for a new company?
1) No

4) I do not know or care who ROK Group or ROK Group are
I could argue about this all weekend but unlike some (8,505 posts since Feb 09 - over 30 posts a day!), I've got better things to do.
Go for it, I'm sure everyone's excited about 8,5060 -

I thought it was because you can't count & are as thick as the "new" owners () who "bought" a company that took money whilst trading insolvent & thought they were purchasing stock.
But thanks for clearing it up.Not Again0 -

I thought I was being "completely ignored"?
Anyway, would love to stay and chat but I have a life. You know, seeing friends, family, generally enjoying life, not getting overly angry, obsessed, paranoid and hysterical, that kind of thing0 -

People here work hard, sometimes for very little. You think its hysterical to be getting upset when they get their money stolen off them? Maybe I should mug you in the street and see if you get 'hysterical'. This new company are still memory bits, so they get all the baggage that comes with the name and were naive if they thought otherwise. The fact is if they are genuinely trying to help customers why did they lie? They haven't sorted any of the orders or offered alternatives as promised. They had no intention of doing do.
They have made a mess of a bad situation. I can honestly say if it was handled better by the new owners then folks wouldn't be quite so angry. they are angry at the lies, the unhelpful automated responses and the lack of consideration. Had they been honest from the get go then I think you would find that people wouldn't be quite so 'hysterical' right now.
Maybe you should get back to that life you keep insisting you have (though you found time to come on here and get your pants in a twist over other peoples rightful annoyance). Perhaps you could take your 'friend' to the job centre to look for employment, because quite frankly he's probably gonna need it soon. Besides, I would be embarrassed to work for a company that have conned so many people of their money. If they genuinely are new owners then they won't get far. I base that on the fact they bought a sinking ship before managing to pi** off any customers they had.
This companies name is mud, and I genuinely hope they learn a lesson from this. They have handled it in the worst possible way and should be embarrassed. people here would have been a lot more forgiving if honesty and tact had been applied from the beginning. It wasn't. What were you expecting peoples reaction to be? Some spent hundreds and likely had to work hard for that money, so they are entitled to be upset. If you have a life, and think this is hysterical nonsense then maybe you should just refrain from sticking your beak in? Just a thought.

I am aware of that. I am one of those people and so is my friend
As you rightly pointed out, I have not lost any money. But, I would like to think if that did happen to me I would not behave like others have done on this and other forums.
Be concerned, be p****d off, be worried, ... I would be. But do not be aggressive, nasty and stop throwing words around like "scammers!", "fraud!" and "lies!" unless you really know what you're talking about.
You are taking it out on the very people who are trying to help. It is not their fault what has happened to you.
I don't want to get into a debate, I want to appeal for a little calm and perspective and then leave you all to deal with this as you choose to.I would advise your mate to get another job.Have a nice life.
Thanks, I hope I do.0 -
