The company went into liquidation, it is not thier fault of this, the new owners seem to be willing to help I have also been on live chat regarding my order and taking into account the situation, they are all trying thier best to resolve as many of the problems as possible... The company from which we purchased from has been liquidated - !!!! happens!!!
Not sure anyone is being abused, but did you honestly think customers were going to take this treatment well? When folks get their hard earned money robbed off them then you best believe someone's gonna be in the firing line, and the so called new company are now the face of memory bits, so they have inherited its problems and ultimately its angry customers. The 'new' company have handled it badly and pretty soon will have no customers. I suggest you ditch the impersonal, insulting automated responses, along with the lies, and perhaps go look for a new job. I'm assuming you're staff, judging by your defensive post.0 -

I understand that people posting here have lost money but as I understand it, the new owners are trying to do something about that. Even though they have no obligation to do so.
Plus, the staff that work at memorybits are not to blame. In fact in many cases they have lost out financially in a big way. Much worse than any of you lot.
People have lost their jobs and the ones that are left are working long shifts trying to fix problems on your behalf. What do they get? Abuse and mockery from the very people they're trying to help.
Copying and pasting live chat transcripts including some sneaky edits from the original to make it look so much worse than it is, is childish, arrogant and rude.
You wouldn't abuse another person in the pub or on the street like this so why do you think it's ok to be like this online? These are real people with real jobs, families and friends like everyone else. They do not deserve this.
Some of you should be ashamed of yourself for the way you're behaving.
Some of the stuff posted in this thread as 'fact' could not be further from the truth. From what I can see it's a bunch of self centred, hysterical nonsense and you should all calm down and see what happens.
PS. To answer the obvious questions/accusations that will undoubtedly come my way:
1) No, I am not staff, but I know someone who is so I do know a little about this.
2) No, I haven't personally lost any money so I don't know how it feels.
PPS. Has anyone stopped to think that some who have posted on here are not customers at all, but memorybits's competition trying to whip everyone up into a frenzy0 -

1) Perhaps you would like to share the information on what happened? who did it? & where they live & so on then?
2) How about the names of the "new" owners& their details & backgrounds?
3) memorybits hasn't got competition. It is a non-trading company by its own admission, at least it is until they get their systems back up & running.
By the way do ROK Group know that ROK Group have borrowed their name for a new company?
:rotfl:
Thought not.Not Again0 -

I'll start the ball rolling...
if you think it's ok to walk in a shop (web or retail) hand over a substantial amount of money for an order, shop takes your money no problem... order is on hold... you contact days after days... phoneing, emailing, but to no responce... company disapears... new company takes over clearly stating it would help prevoius orders... but no... buyer is left to find away to get there own money back... oh... but here's 25% off our "new" stock... oh wait the same stock...
regardless of what people have said or put, it doesn't matter now, that company / name and all of its partners have dealt with it... it has have been linked to various sites, searches, reviews all negative!! and personally happy to have my money back and that I'll never use them again!!
so come back when you have had money stolen from you you, I'm sure others will agree... what has been said on this thread is clear for all and without doubt the right thing.0
