Dear ******
ZoomBits are now under new ownership!
The new owners of this website are now The Rok Group. The previous owners are in the process of going into liquidation, and have called a meeting of the creditors of the company in relation to this. Further details will be posted as they become available.
Please do not worry about your recent order with us. From our records, we see that you are still awaiting delivery of your order placed recently. During the time since placing your order, ZoomBits has undergone a change of ownership and The Rok Group are pleased to announce the purchase of this site on 14 October 2010.
The Rok Group has no association with the previous shareholders or Boards of the previous owners of this website.
We are pleased to announce that we are fully committed to helping all customers with orders identified as being paid for and outstanding, or paid for and not yet fulfilled by the previous owners. These 'outstanding orders' according to records, date back to the period 28 September to 13 October. If you have any queries about an order previous to 28 September 2010, The Rok Group are prepared to look at each case individually - although The Rok Group has no legal obligation to do so. This is the beginning of a new process of striving to achieve excellent levels of Customer Service with all previous and future customers.
It will take up to 10 days from today for us to get the site fully operational.
It is our intention to first deal with you, as a matter of priority, as a valued customer with an outstanding order. As you have been affected by this change of ownership, we will be contacting you again in the next few days and you will be offered a number of options to resolve your particular order. We are working with the previous owners payment providers to resolve this situation as fast as possible.
We appreciate that this may have been a stressful time for you having not heard from us sooner, particularly when no information or contact has been provided to date. This is the first instance that we, The Rok Group, as the new owners, have been legally able to contact you our valued customer.
We will begin contacting all of our customers with outstanding orders from Monday 18 October 2010, so that we can begin speedily resolving your order.
We look forward to contacting you further next week.
Kind Regards,
The ZoomBits Team
(Rok Group Limited)

hi there

i placed an order with memorybits on september 30th for 2 mp5 players and 3 weeks later no sign of them i entered into a chat session with the new owners customer care and they told me that i have to try to get the money back through my credit card so the above statement is misleading in that it implies that any orders placed between 28 september and 13 october are outstanding and will be looked at favourably... they basically told me to get lost in a nice way (thanks helen) so beware of what they say ...

here is a transcript of the chat:
Chat Transcript
info: Welcome to Live Chat. One of our operators will be with you shortly.
info: You are now chatting with 'helen'
helen: Hi there how can i help you
you: hi helen , my order has not arrived after 3 weeks order number: *********
helen: your order was dispatched on the 30 September
you: yes i saw that but is there any tracking info for further info
helen: not at this moment, are you aware that the company you ordered from has gone into liquidation, we are a new company trying to sort out existing orders
you: no i was not aware of that my order was placed on the 30th when did the company go bust
helen: 12 days ago
helen: i would think that as your order was depatched iit is more than likely lost in the post
you: but are you completely sure that everything the previous company said was despatched was actually despatched and also if it is lost in the post what are my options?
helen: you could call the post office and try and get your money back or your bank and paypal account
you: what about tracking info from previous company records?
helen: ZoomBits.co.uk are now under brand new ownership by Rok Group Limited, as of 14 October 2010. The previous owners are continuing in the process of going into liquidation, and have called a meeting of the creditors of the company in relation to this; to which further details will be posted on our website as they become available.
helen: We have now begun the process of individually analysing each and every outstanding order within our records that we have inherited from the previous owners.
helen: Unfortunately, at this time, we are unable to verify or fulfil your original order made before Rok Group's new ownership of ZoomBits.co.uk. Although Rok Group has no legal obligation to fulfil this order, we certainly do not want to cause you any extra trouble - we are very aware that you have been caught up in the Company's 'change of ownership process'. In order for this situation to be resolved as quickly as possible, we highly recommend that you begin the process of claiming back any monies that have left your account in relation to this order from your Credit / Debit Card provider
you: yeah ok but are you going to fulfill my order or not?
helen: hope this information helps you, once again i can only apologize for your disappointment
helen: from what i can sea your order was despatched
you: ok helen thanks for your help , good luck in your new position..
info: Your chat transcript will be sent to someemail@gmail.com at the end of your chat.

you: so,what about contacting the customers...as you read in your own email, you said in a few days, those few days are up tomorrow, and as far as i know,no one has been contacted....i presume you want this business to work?? because it wont if you just fob the old customers off
helen: we are genuinely trying to help the customers of memorybits, but its a little topsy turvey at the moment
helen: i can only ask you to be patient, or try other means to recoup the money lost to you

Looks like the emails they are sending are just a load of s#ite really.

Not one person on here has received a personal email with regard to their own order yet.

I haven't started the credit card chargeback claim yet, but I will do now.

Looks to me as if they are using delaying tactics to stop people being able to charge back because they go over the time limits.

Just as I suspected, but they would have a very long wait, I thought the limit was 120 days from when you knew you weren't going to get your order?
