    Good Morning Friday !

Back from getting the ponios in as they have the farrier today. Left them eating haylage that I had to rush out and get after work last night as hay delivery not until this afternoon and I'd run out! Wont tell you how much it cost for a small bag but suffice to say I don't eat that well!

Still it will keep them happy whilst they stay in and their legs dry off.

Have done some extra hours at work so I can leave early this afternoon as Farrier arrives at 3(ish)... They are always late tho!

Had Tapioca with jam for breaki for a change, haven't had it since I was at junior school 40 years ago! Think I will stick to the rice pudding!

Off to earn my keep now as other half is giving me a lift as he has the day off and wants the car.

  • The HorseHage stuff? Merlin is addicted to it, if I put a handful mixed in with his hay, he'll whiffle through and very carefully pick out every last bit of HorseHage before eating the rest of it!

Yes Caz they loved it! Both looked fat and sleepy by the time I went back in the afternoon. :D

Farrier been and gone so a whooping £88 on new shoes for Mr H and a trim for Mr G. It's a shame Mr H's feet are not better quality as he could be barefoot too.

The best news is the farmer has allowed them to be moved them all over to the winter field yesterday afternoon so they are up to their knees in grass now. So can no need to increase their feed yet for the winter months.:D

On the MSE side still haven't been able to get hold of British Gas  to check I will be able to change my meter for free when I switch to them in November. Just hope that the info on MSE is accurate I guess!

Walked down to T£sco with OH this morning as wanted to pop into podiatrist shop nearby. Had a word with them about my swollen ankle but they have said I have to go to the Dr's as it may need xraying. I hate going to Dr's as I feel like a hypochondriac at the moment:o

OH bought some chicken wings and potato salad for lunch - I really need to have a talk to him about reducing our ever growing food budget. He doesn't like cheap stuff and we are paying over £400 pm  on food for just 3 of us!

Felt really poorly in T£sco, head spinning and felt faint with shortness of breath and couldn't thing straight. Also felt very hot and thirsty. These episodes have been going on for a while now and have started to gett me down . I've been put on HRT and on a wheat free diet so far by the Dr. Both have had an effect but it is still happening. I wonder If I'm just dehydrated. Am sitting here topping up my H2O content at the moment :D.

Anyhows thats enough moaning for now..time to have a look and see whats going on in MSE land

    Quick update on the weekend!

Felt a bit better in the afternoon on Sat. Went to feed ponies but they were not interested now they are in their winter field so just checked them over. Then took dog for a 4 mile walk with OH on the hills, weather was lovely. :D

Spent most of today at the allotment. All my first batch of onions had survived the waterlogging and have sprouted. Dug up the last of my potatoes, got a big carrier bag full that had survived the slugs :j Planted the garlic and spinach, cabbage and Kohl Rabi and lettuce that I bought from the garden center a couple of weeks ago. Don't know if they will survive the next few months but worth a try.

Did ponies in the pouring rain tonight, such a contrast to the night before.

Time for bed methinks as have to get up early to do the boys before work.

    Nigh night diaryland

    Hi TC

I would keep going to the Docs until you know what's wrong, nothing is more important than your health and even if you feel like a hypocondriac - that's kind of tough :) None of this matters unless you have your health take care x
