Not harsh at all L. In the back of my mind I keep thinking of the sacrifice you had to make giving up your horse in order to be DF.

I'm going to try and hang on to Mr H as he has been the most suitable one I've had and it took along time to find him,but If I can't get a sharer then he too may have to be sold or put on full loan. As you say there could be others once the debt is cleared.

Got the paper work from British Gas today...need to phone them and see if they will change my meter for free in the morning :D

Did the shopping at A$da. Managed to keep the price down by writing a list and sticking to it :money: not forgetting the extra 10% staff discount we get as DS works there  Also Filled up the car....glad to see that petrol prices are going down..even if its only pennies. OH has already paid me back for the food and fuel as thats part of his share of the bills.

Mr G is still in disgrace and confined to the sheep pen at the yard, as he kept leaning on the broken electric fence in his field. He is beginning to get jumpy as the pony in the pen but one has moved so he is now on his own poor boy. Farmer was going to fix the electric today but the rain was too heavy...he has said he will try tomorrow. Mr G can go back out with the others then. Only 3 more weeks and they all move over to their winter field which has lots of long grass so should keep them quiet for a bit.

Put my adverts up for the boys this morning when I was at the yard. :( Will give it a couple of weeks and then look into paid advertising.

off to read some more diaries ....

UGH! am struggling this morning. since OH and I hae been living together (18 months now) I've struggled to get enough sleep and he goes to bed late and I get up early. In an attempt to gain more ZZzzz in the morning I'm trying to reorganise my morning routine. But am struggling to get my brain into gear this morning what I'm supposed to be doing when .

    Old routine

Get up 6am (ish) throw yard clothes on and grab dog from her slumbers and head 4 miles to yard
6.30ish Feed ponios, check their ok etc whilst excerising dog by throwing bally toy

7.30ish leave yard and head home

7.50? Have shower? Have breakfast (rice pudding)and coffee. make packed lunch

8.15 (very ish) Head out to join several traffic jams which is the 4 mile to work (in opposite direction to stables)

9 a.m arrive fresh and sparkly at work! :rotfl:

    New routine

6am got up and am having breakfast.

Make lunch, pack work clothes(for goodness sake don't forget to take them to work as wellies not a good look in the office!)

Walk dog around block (she hates the mud at
the yard in winter and won't get out the car anyway)

Leave for yard, feed ponios etc.

Leave yard and go straight to work on byepass(will probably automatically head home!!!)

Get changed at work and arrive bright and sparkly into office :D

will be interesting what time I actually arrive at work this morning!! :o

Anyhow no other MSE news to report except that British Gas are proving hard to contact by phone as get the usual ...very busy at this time message . I want to check if they will change my meter and at what cost before being committed to the change

Anyhow must crack on with the new plan....now what am I supposed to be doing.....

Fingers crossed you are not on autopilot ;)

    Thanks NOA!

It went ok except for getting drenched twice, once walking the dog and once feeding the ponios in a thunderstorm! then got caught in traffic for most of the journey to work :-( Only 20 mins late but they are ok about it as long as I make it up. :)

I think a couple of amendments are necessary - make pony feeds up the night before and leave with headcollars in the boots of car. make own lunch up the night before and take breakie to work as stomach couldn't cope with brekkie at 6am! :o

Think I might try batch cooking the rice pudding I have for breakfast and try freezing it in portions to take to work, it should be cheaper and less hassle!:money:

Ponios looked quite happy in the rain. Mr G is back in with his field mates as the nice farmer has completely re fenced the field, new posts, sheep netting and electric! He said it needed doing anyway :-)

Doubled up Mr H's rugs this morning so he had 2 x summer rain sheets on as one was beginning to leak in the monsoon. ~Its now sunny outside hope he isn't too hot!!

Lunchtime is over better get back to work so bye for now diaryland
