Drs appointments are just so hard to get! At least you have got it booked now.
Fingers crossed that insurance will cover the cost of the Vets bill!

Good morning!
Quick update then off to browse what everyone else has been up to this week :-)
It was payday yesterday so time to get my finances organised before I start distributing it at the beginning of November. Have to admit I've been a bit lax this month and not kept my spreadsheet up to date which is really what controls my spending so am expecting to have not cleared as much as I had hoped.
On top of that was the unexpected vets bill of £285 which has gone on my credit card
So a list for jobs to do today/this weekend/ or by the beginning of Nov!
Update Cashflow spreadsheetDone
Contact Horse Ins Co for claim form and complete
Pay last months spends on 0% credit card.Done
Look into advertising for Mr G :-(
Set up Trf's for 1st Nov.Done
Feed Ponies Done
Walk Dog Done
Spend at least 2 hours at allotment. Done
Menu/ Shopping list for Monday
That will do as have OH's son staying over from the land of leprechauns for half term week. :T

Hi L good to have you drop by!
Yes am working. OH is off as he is a teacher.
I need to look into free and v.cheap advertising for both of them Mr G to sell and Mr H needs a sharer. It is not a good time of year to sell ponies so any expenditure will be wasted I think. Although there is a site that has long term adverts on that might be worth spending some money on. Usually I find word of mouth is best though and several people spoken to me at the yard about Mr G so hopefully the word is getting out.
Anyhow must be off to feed the boys and take rugs off....

Had a trip to see OH's family today. We all met up at a garden center in Hampshire. Bit of a trek but a lovely to see them all.:D
Have updated the cash flow and not as bad as I had thought. Having to replace my phone and the unexpected pony expenditure has meant that the overdraft won't be cleared until December, which will mean the Xmas budget will be a lot tighter sadly. But it doesn't look like we will have OH's children over so it won't be so bad.
Will have to keep an eye on that credit card tho and try and get it paid off asap. It's mainly the vets fees so must remember to phone the insurance co tomorrow and get a claim form.
Had a lovely roast chicken and veg tonight. And prepared the pumpkin I bought last week ready to make spicy pumpkin soup for tomorrows tea. OH is objecting though that it isn't a proper meal without meat so not sure what we are having now
We tried to do a menu for the rest of the month. I'm trying to spend as little as possible as he has said we have already spent all the food budget. I am trying to use up what we have in the cupboard/freezer but he is being disagreeable about what I suggest and we have ended up arguing! He doesn't like cheap meals..soup and pasta etc but complains about how much is spent
We spend over£400 per month for 3 of us which seems an awful lot compared to others on MSE.
Anyhows have to get ready for work tomorrow

Hello Diaryland! My PC is proper playing up tonight so this may be brief!
Phoned Insurance co for claim form, which I am filling out currently. So Fingers crossed will get something towards the vet bill;)
Finished final accounts for the month. Overdraft down to £455 so a saving of £259 this month :T
Have worked out that I wont need the cash borrowed from the joint savings to keep me out of the o/d this month as DS will pay his rent early in the month, so have paid that back aswell:jDebt at LBM 2010 £40,640.17. I finally got around to the Dr's aswell. Am not very happy as after explaining that the pain in my ankles/feet was stopping me from walking any distance/ cycling to work, riding etc he said that it was where the ligaments have been damaged over time and there wasn't anything they could do. I just have to take pain killers and do less I'm not yet 50!!!
After feeling sorry for myself for a bit I decided that the best thing to do was to lose the extra 4 stone my poor feet have to carry and to start taking supplements for joints. So have joined ww and my darling OH has kindly ordered me some supplements.:) I have worked out that I should reach my goal weight by 50ieth, a year and 3 months time.
Well dinners calling so time to sign off, have a good week mse land
Hopefully the supplements won't take that long to work though :rotfl:Debt at LBM 2010 £40,640.17. Debt Free 2017 Debt 2023 £24k I didn't learn! NEW Goal Debt and Mortgage Free Jan 2025.
