    Hello again Martin,

I hope you're having a lovely weekend with Jackie, and I really hope you are able to find an answer to your money problems.

    Take care,

I'm going to unsubscribe to this thread now.

I've looked through your previous threads. It does appear that you are genuinely in difficulty and do genuinely need advice to your problem.

Honest best advice I can offer has been mentioned many times.

If you want to stay where you are but free up some cash, consider the other option of taking in a lodger. You may find you're back on your feet in 6 months or so.

Could you clarify, is it now 1 property or divided into 2?

If you have the 2 in 1, you have one and can rent out the second, payments for which should easily cover your loan & cc p'ments

If it's 1 property but spare rooms, you can still up your income & improve your current crisis

DFW board. Very helpful and supportive if you post your SOA, they'll help with tips to slash your outgoings

Worth considering & best options IMO.

    Good luck!

How kind of you both.......Thank You!!!!

I have subscribed to a Barclaycard Gold Credit Card with a £7k limit and 0% interest for a year....I am moving my debts onto that...this creates a bit of cash-flow for me.....

Two other important issues....Jackie admits that it has been a little unfair that she has had it all her own way in the past five years(and she has for I have treated her like a Princess)and has agreed to come and stop a couple of nights in the week as a precursor to moving in:j:j:j:j

The business has picked up big style.I have a Website that is drawing a fair bit of business and as we are fairly good at what we do we are generating bags of repeat business.....Jackie is a particular help on the Childrens Side so having her with me will be a great help....I tend to do the Adult Evening Stuff myself....

Even if there were no chnage to my expenditure and income(which there is) this gets me through to being nearly 54 and at 55 have I further choices with my Pension,Equity Release and Remortgaging (because by then I'll have 3 years Accounts and possibly Jackie wishing to come onto it).....

If people had been as nice as this in the beginning this could have been a great thread with a nice little story to it.However to me it looks hideous.

I did drift onto another part of the Forum and saw that this is the norm on here so that quite heartened me...Folk tend to use it as a vehicle for scratching each others eyes out on the virtual highway which I think is shameful. As the Site is a catalyst for this I'm surprised its not been in more trouble for this.... as far as I can see if there are any libellous statements on here...and there are in this thread....the Site is equally responsible. There doesn't seem to be any moderation or fair play involved.

If Martin Lewis wasn't so busy counting his money I think he would be horrified at some of the content and attitudes that prevail!!!;););)

So, no truce for you then?

I hope you are including yourself in the 'people' comment. You may not have called anyone names but you started this thread off with a disparaging attitude re your comment about 'handbag brigade' and that didn't change the whole way through. You had a fixed idea about a) what you wanted to happen in real life and b) the replies you wanted on this thread. You gave no respect to any replies which did not meet with your approval even if they talked complete sense.

You also clearly have a different interpretation to some of us, as to what is an actual libellious statement but that of course is your right.

It's a shame you don't have too good an opinion of this site or the people who frequent it. I do agree that at times there are comments made which are unfair but apart from a few replies here which weren't very nice, you seemed to take umbrage to anyone who either disagreed with you or pressed you for more factual info. Considering you wanted this thread to deal with the more factual than the emotional aspect, I think you have been very unfair in your reaction to some replies.

That said, I join in with the others in wishing you all the best and I hope things turn out as you hope. It sounds hopeful for you, given your last post.

If that is your opinion of some members of this site, then judging from this last, very judgemental paragraph, and other rather juvenile, sexist and rude comments, you should be right at home here.;)

People will post a comment reacting to what you write, and the tone and tenor of how it is written. You may not have meant your initial post to come across how it did, (cold, unfeeling and manipulative) but the fact that so many interpreted it that way means that is exactly how it did come across.

The "blame" for that lies with you. So, in the future, if you wish to receive only plaudits and no honest comment perhaps you should consider how you phrase your OP's.

I was referring to the actual cost of the money....not the amount of money you would pay out each month!

You think i'm strange...have you READ your opening post??!
AND i'm not the one who has had to beg my partner to move in with me...oh no, he even married me!

    Morty

You really must explain why you are laughing so much at my situation ...cos I really don't get it...and you may make yourself ill.

    You're happy....I'm happy....lets rejoice in that situation.

Put the top on the bottle of Vodka and go to bed...you'll feel a lot more rational in the morning!!!

    Nite!!
