  • A space in my work places cycle shed!

For those saying girlie products, check out washable sanitary towels and mooncup. I must have saved hundreds of pounds since I discovered them

I hate paying the council tax... it's my biggest expense after the rent (even food is less for 2 people) and swallows up 1/8 of my take home pay. I know that it pays for services I need, I just wish they took your income into account when working out how much you need to pay!

  • Anything car-related.
As a divorcee of some 26 years I still hate having to pay people, usually men, to come and fix things in the house which my husband used to do.

I also think car repairs are exorbitant.

Car parking!!!!!!! I would rather park free and walk!

Also, vets fees! It's a necessity and the vets are lovely but it usually means a poorly mog or a fight to gert them in the cage if going for jabs!!!! They can be pests!!!

But if you DO tell them, at least it stops them ever knocking on your door in the first place!! Why invite possible trouble!

There is absolutely no requirement to let the TV Licencing people (Capita and therefore sales people) know anything at all.

You don't have to opt out of a TV licence.
You don't have to let them into your house at any time.
You don't have to respond to their letters which are considered bullying in the extreme.

Another thing that I hate is prescription charges for my asthma medication. I don't understand why other chronic illness prescriptions are free yet my 3 asthma meds cost me over £21 every couple of months.[/QUOTE]

You can buy pre-payment certificate, at the mo it's £104 for a 12 month cert.

    £28.25 for a 3 mnth PPC.

Not bad value if you have a lot of meds at £7.20 each.

No problem can withstand the assault of sustained thought.
Only after the last tree has been cut down. Only after the last fish has been caught. Only after the last river has been poisoned. Only then will you realize that money cannot be eaten.
