OK, quick update, thought I should as I've been commenting on everyone else's diaries...
I have moved £150 quid onto my cc (0% but need it gone) because I won't have it next month, for council tax!:p
There is still nothing I can do about anything else, my mum is still trying to not do anything, grandfather is struggling through, and DS1 is still causing problems and I can't figure out why (or don't want to)
Work is still a drag, do need to pull my finger out and apply for another one, saw a job last week but didn't apply for it as I had a horrible head cold. I know someone else that did go for it, so I'm hoping they get the best for them, that sounds wrong but should cover me for rule number 6!

We'll be having brekkie at that point, so you will get to see my fluffy slippers. Its the third roundabout on the left, I'm in the cream house, looks slightly tumbledown... with some brambles in front:D

What I mean by not getting lost is that you can just head in the right direction, I've lived in towns where to get somewhere you need to head away from your destination to get on the right road to get to where your going... that made sense in my head:o
According to the tinternets (and you should alway believe what you read) there are 1000, including minis.

I have found my paperwork and just made my first ever overpayment:j:j:j
I've only paid a fiver, I wanted to check it would all work out... so I will let you know what the mortgage bank thinks of it.
I have £200 left to play with this month but... I have my mobile coming out (£20) I know it could be cheaper but I really wanted my iphone, and I've really used it! And I have sky coming out (£30 inc line rental) I could stop this but I got sick and tired of the kids moaning it was better at Nans!
That leaves me with £150 but... I've seen an offer on garden furniture so might have to spend £50 on a set, which then leaves me with £100 to last me 9 days, should be easy enough!;)

I'm so close to paying more in but not until I know the first one worked. I need to go into the bank next week in my lunchtime and scare/confuse the poor people behind the counter!!:D
Today I've had 3 kids around, and I'm still sane, well as sane as I ever am!
I had my niece round all day, and I have her all day tomorrow as well:eek: (ok thats not far, she's less work than my two!)
I managed to go to Herr A, the german supermarket, with the three of them, not too bad, only 3 people maimed by DS1 and his dodgy driving skills. I spent more than I should have (I always do) stocking up on mexican food, I have fajihtas (sp?), tacos and enchalida kits. Not the most MSE way of doing it but DS1 likes to cook dinner and I have found out if it all comes in one box we get to eat at a reasonable time!
This afternoon I and DN put my new hammock together, much giggles had as couldn't stretch the fabric, it should have been easy,!
I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them tomorrow...

OK, another post... I'm trying not to leave this diary in the dust, I went away for a while when nothing was happening but now I'm getting on track to make more payments I need to keep this up!:p
Yesterday was a busy day, in the morning I went to see DS2s new school, I haven't moved either kid from their old school, so in september they will both go to new schools. The school looked good, I'd like to go there!!!:D I've yet to see the middle school DS1 will be going to, all the paperwork show the school to be good, and its got good reviews from anyone I've spoken to... It has to be better than the school he would have gone to, they wanted to put him in a nurture room and give him a choice to go to class... I. DON'T. THINK. SO! DS1 is not stupid, give him a choice between going to class and staying in a room with very few rules and I know which he will choose, I know which I would choose!
Checked up on my mini over payment, went into the bank and asked about an OP, I was told none received, mutter something about missing a fiver and the woman said 'oh yes there was five pounds paid in, when you said over payment I assumed...' cut me down to size:D
Then meet an old family friend and caught up quickly on the last 10 years... and went to work...
Dinner with the girls then on to the pub for the quiz with the boys...
I'm knackered today!

At least you know your OP's are reaching your account so you can make some more.
What kind of things are you doing to maximise income?June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -

Mmmm... upping my income... well I have signed up to most of the survey sites, but I'm not so good with actually doing them, and the money earned is going to the garden, not a nessesary but a nice to have...
I'm also doing freelance work, the first thing that I got in my house was a safe under the stairs, that was installed even before the water was switched onMust have somewhere secure for all the really boring paperwork...
And then there is my job, I've seen another job, for a bit more money which I need to apply for but to be honest my current job is alright, there are ok perks, my dept head is not an a$$hat, my line manager is never at his desk so I can get away with murder if I want...
So... not really that motivated, should be though!
