Is he still looking just up the road to me Budge?
Hi Jo
Yes he isand he has just rang me again as the estate agent has just got back to him, the one he offered on are trying to negotiate a reduction on the one they want, if they can get a lower offer accepted on the one they want, then they will take my Ds offer on theirs.
I may be down sooner than I thought
Maybe in time for Crimbo :xmastree:oh what fun it would be to tease Dear Grinchy

Oooooooooooooooh I can hardly wait
Hows you Jo?
Love n hugs

Thanks Budgie. He was very pleased to see me. It was a complete surprise as he thought I couldn't make it. I did 800 miles travelling in a day and a half! The return journey was chaos as the train reservation system broke down. I ended up losing my jacket when I moved seats. I was glad I went though. Hope you are ok too. I completely agree about the Apprentice. Love it - but what a bunch!
Hugs (()) xx
I hope everyone else is ok too. Are you all off watching Strictly?
Alchera - wow! I'm always dreaming about winning the lottery and what I'd do if I did. Thing is - I'd still be me warts and all and I'd be worried too that I'd overdo the celebrating. Mortgage paid off would be nice and to help family, friends and do some good too. Like others have said - look after yourself first. Get the best help you possibly can.
Good luck with it all.
Somebody tell me what a troll is please? In my teens I collected plastic dolls with mad hair and that's my memory of them! I'm guessing that's not what's meant on here.

Well - I am still going to be me too...warts and all. I'm a bit of a scruffy old !!!! and no amount of dosh is going to change that. Money will never change who I am....and, I am def with you re. helping others...:) I always wanted to do that...since I was a child really....and now I actually can do it. And that makes me feel...dunno ....It really makes me feel as if I have come to life...
A troll is someone who joins a thread and makes a post which is designed to noise people up....and get a reaction from them. Trolls make posts that are not true. I remember the trolls you mention too.. lol
Thank you DecemberBaby for your kind words...
I dunno why but I expected people to be horrible to me when they found out about my win and, the fact that people here have been so kind really touches me...Thank you so much.0 -
You're welcome Alchera. I do think this is the most supportive and friendly thread there is. I rarely venture onto others but when I do I'm often shocked at how judgemental and argumentative folks can be
Stick with us!
Thanks for the explanation of trolls!
Just had a read through the last couple of days and sending hugs to those going through tough times.

.
apologies alchera I also thought this, probably because of the 'I've won the lottery' starting post.. seemed a bit of a weird way to introduce yourself on a forum on a moneysaving site.. anyhow's welcome to the wonderful world of giving up/cutting down thread...
