  • Hi all

23/24 AFDs for me for September, please Shaggy. And thank you so much for scoring for September and also October.

    Target October: 25

Finished the maternity cover job on Thursday and starting a new job on Monday 18 october - so two weeks holiday!!!!! So first reaction is 'ooh, that means I can drink lots of wine' - but no, I must be strict and not allow this to happen, because the hangovers are horrible, and my skin looks bad and I get bags under my eyes. No way to start a new job, looking like a pig.

Going to try to remain AF tonight, so have offered to collect DD2 from her friend's house at 10:00 pm.

    Have a good day everybody

    Sue x

GreyPilgrims coast to coast charity ride thing update.

Wow. Best ever thing I've done. Ever. Fantastic. Awesome. Want to do it all again. Sore bum.

Raised about £800 for a local charity hospice / research centre. Have some pics / vids to hand which I'll post in a bit.

    Congratulations GP, that's excellent!:T
I've just worked out that this week I only drank 80% of the units I drank in previous weeks .... Little things. .....little steps :)

Keep pluging away BHB, you'll get there. It's all progress.
  • Hi all,

I've not been here for a few days and have only had a quick look at what has been going on.

I didn't do too well at the end of September but started October feeling more positive.

Pen I only completed 2 days of your challenge.

Shaggy please put me down for 15 days for October, 1 so far.
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.

  • :T:T Well done bhb, you going to try to stick at 80% this week?

Yep I think I'm going to stick with the 80% this week and perhaps reduce again in a couple of weeks by 80% of the 80% if you see what i mean? ....gets calculator out ....tap tap tap :rotfl:

I've just been nominated family taxi driver again this afternoon - that should help with AF'ness!

DH is out tonight at a concert and DS out with friends so I'm looking forward to a nice quiet evening in with my fizzy water. Can't wait for my choice of TV for once :)
This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
    Fingers crossed x

Hi Sim, try http://www.saynoto0870.com/ they have free phone and low cost versions of these phone numbers. You still get through to the same people, just a different phone number.

    Hiya cc,

    Thanks.

I'd already checked on the 0870 site. I always do, as I don't like having to use these numbers, especially for the DWP! :rotfl:

My DWP office is not listed on there though :(

    Thanks again.

In sainsbury's someone drops a bottle of red wine which smashes all over the floor. Urgh what a smell!! Used to love red wine.

Then approached by the promotion woman on the way out if I wanted a sample of ...... red wine.

Took me back to the days when I would sample anything alcoholic at anytime of day!
