2 Please Shaggy
Have not really felt like a beer to be honest but do wonder if all I do is post my total and that seems to be it lately. Not doing much supporting on this thread so wondering if it has done its job for me for a while. I have felt like this for a while to be honest so behave yourselfs as I will not be far away
Might have to expand my horizons a bit and see how I get on but will pop in occasionally to post my total
Will have to have my AF Stag do on here before I jet off and get married anyway
Take care0 -
Morning all,
A wet, windy Sunday here. So depressing it will take all my resolve to stay af today. Will need to find diversions to take my mind off the blinking stuff.
Shaggy 2 for me please.
Have a nice day.
RNOf all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0

... can anyone suggest anything else he might try ?
He can join us! We will be kind honest
He needs to find something else to drink in the evening. For me it's Cadbury's hot chocolate. If he has drinking continuosly, he can expect to feel withdrawal symptoms/ cravings for 3 to 4 days as the alcohol levels fall in his body. But will feel better probably in a week if he goes cold turkey.
Maybe he can cut his units down each day by trying to start drinking later in the day?
I'm no expert! But hope that helps

2 fo me please, Shaggy
That was difficult to achieve last night, but managed it.
I completely agree with what others have said about finding something else to do/reward yourself with apart from drinking (ice cold white wine in my case.) I too have started just letting myself sit and read the paper rather than rushing around trying to tidy, clean, iron, cook, plan, etc etc. Drinking wine to me is an escape from all the many other things I HAVE to do.
I feel great today, rather than headachey and bags under my eyes, and feeling panic and guilt.
Little steps.
FOUL day here in Manchester - but I'm still going on my bike to the gym.
Have a good day everybody
