Piglet fine today after his jabs yesterday, bless him. Very chirpy. Especially at 6.30 this morning when he bounced all over me. Lovely:rotfl:
So I'm all ahead of myself today, which is good. Slept really well (sorry, those of you struggling with sleep). Went to be about 11pm and am full of life today! Making the most of it as am damned sure it won't last!:rotfl:
OH has challenged me to something. Did anyone see Biggest Loser last night?? Incredibly scary programme, certainly would NOT want to be on that regime, seems very unhealthy. Anyway, one of the challenges was that each couple had to cycle a marathon between them, non stop (i.e 13 miles each). OH reckons its easy and I reckon its quite hard. So we're going to give it a go tonight :rotfl:. He's dragging the exercise bike in later. Must be out of our tiny minds!:rotfl:
Anyway, off to do lunchboxes! Catch you all later (if I haven't fallen off an exercise bike and died!)
Miss P
xx
Just watch out for the cornering... those bikes aren't very good at thatOh - and give OH the first shift, let him show you how easy it is
:rotfl:
Glad to see Piglet has recovered from his trauma.....Neigh, neigh, and thrice neigh

Oh yes, have that one worked out already. I've told him I'll put piglet to bed tonight and he can do the first half whilst I'm doing that :rotfl:**Keep Calm and Carry On!**0 -
Morning.
I have poker tonight (a 4 weekly thing with the boys); so a night off from the family. However, I like to be relatively AF (is that a contradiction in terms or what) when playing poker, as I'm better.
Tonight, one of the boys (and his OH) have a new flat in Bethnal Green, so I'm going there with housewarming presents - and I'm driving (I never drink when driving), so I figure that will (assuming I don't drink when I get home tonight at about midnight) make me 7/11 - a third of the way there but just slightly more than a third of the way through the month.
Getting home and not having a couple of cans of lager or a bottle of wine is actually more of a challenge than it sounds though. Can we just take it as read I didn't mean to offend you?0 -

Morning all,
Flimsier, can you take the cans and bottle out of the fridge so they're warm? Or hide them somewhere so that you will have time to think about whether you really want to after getting through so much of the evening. If I put it behind the sofa or something I would have to laugh at myself getting it out which might make me think twice. BTW not saying I actually have this sussed or anything, just a suggestion. I used to persuade myself not to 'waste' a drinking day if it was late when I could start as I'd only have time for one or two before bed. I really am not sure that being good in that mindset is 'good' though.
Miss P, thanks for telling us about the marathon, that's exactly the kind of daft thing I'd end up doing - good luck!
Shaggy that's 3/16 for me and first of my four night challenge completed successfully Pen.
Lime and soda worked for me last night, and a recording of Romancing the Stone. I remembered that movie as much more original and fun than it was seeing it again after all these years. Reminded me why some people fancy Michael Douglas, not my type but he does look pretty hot in this film at times.0 -
Morning Jo - good luck - get your big bovver boots laced up good - fingers crossed for you hun.0
