I am having one of my alcohol days today. I am loving this way of cutting down. This is my first alcholol day since New Years Eve. Had no alcholol at all at the weekend which I am very pleased about.
So Ive had 9 AFD days so far.0 -
Hi all,
Hope everyone is ok today. Lots of people doing really well and welcome to newbies. Thanks Budgie I'm not too bad but a lot of worries on at the moment and not much AFness.
Shaggy -thanks for scoring. My target has changed from 12 to TF on your scores but I'd rather it was 12 please.

Evening all
AF last night and again tonight :T so that makes 9 for me please shaggy!
Budgie - how on earth do you remember all those names?! I have trouble enough remembering my own, somedays!:rotfl:
Dizzibint - welcome to the thread!
Talking of sleeping, I sleep terribly when I've had a drink. The last two nights I have slept like a log, albeit with very vivid and long dreams. Waking up shattered!
Piglet had his pre-school booster jabs today (yes, I know they're late...don't ask) and he was an absolute star. Injection in both arms and he didn't cry a bit! He's my little hero :T. As we came out of the doctors surgery though he did say he wouldn't be able to run anymore as his arms hurt!:rotfl::rotfl:
Anyway, I'm wittering on. Hope everyones ok.

My main problem with putting off stopping drinking is trouble sleeping! I really don't do well on not much sleep and this has been the main issue every time I've stopped..... when I do manage to get to sleep I have hot and cold sweats and often wake up with the bed clothes soaking wet!
Thanks, Jo x
Hi Jo and welcome to the thread, hope it helps in your search to drink less and lose pounds.
I struggle more with getting off to sleep but once I'm asleep it's much better quality although I wake up feeling rather groggy. I also find my skin can be quite tingly and sensitive when I'm trying to get to sleep, like lots of small itches. I've put that down to being more aware without the sedating effects of my nightly bottle of vino.
I'm home alone today/tonight. Just cracked open a bottle of soda, added some ice and lime juice so I'm going to stay strong. I made it slightly easier on myself by drinking only a little yesterday so I haven't been hungover today. I feel very tired tonight though, I think I'm missing the buzz of all that sugar and surplus calories so off to distract myself with some quality sofa tv time and that yummy lime and soda.0 -
