Night all
I don't know if smoking or drinking were 'habits' for me.
I know I was addicted to nicotine, and I am alcoholic.
A habit for me is marmite on toast everyday, or the same seat on the tube every morning.
I can stop these 'habits'.
Most people on here cannot stop drinking, even though many want to. This is more than a habit. I couldn't stop drinking either (or I couldn't stay stopped). I had to change myself. As a result, my habits have changed, but that has been in response to me changing, not the other way around.0 -

Well I managed a grand total of 2AF for December, terrible. And no AF in January yet. I don't think I'll be AF tonight as I'm aiming to ease off gradually over a few days rather than go cold turkey. So I have no wine or spirits in the house any more, only a few small bottles of grolsch which I can't drink loads of as I get too full up!
Hope you're all having a good start to January.
CB xx
Please take care - I know many alcoholics who found cold turkey very hard going, but the needed to go through for the fog to lift a little.0 -
Real buzz of AFness on here tonight. Well done all:T
5AF for January for me please Shaggy

Morning :hello:
Another AFD for me - making a continuous week and 9 days in total. I like having a drinky but I do indeed like being AF too :j
ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

Morning all
Piglet fine today after his jabs yesterday, bless him. Very chirpy. Especially at 6.30 this morning when he bounced all over me. Lovely:rotfl:
So I'm all ahead of myself today, which is good. Slept really well (sorry, those of you struggling with sleep). Went to be about 11pm and am full of life today! Making the most of it as am damned sure it won't last!:rotfl:
OH has challenged me to something. Did anyone see Biggest Loser last night?? Incredibly scary programme, certainly would NOT want to be on that regime, seems very unhealthy. Anyway, one of the challenges was that each couple had to cycle a marathon between them, non stop (i.e 13 miles each). OH reckons its easy and I reckon its quite hard. So we're going to give it a go tonight :rotfl:. He's dragging the exercise bike in later. Must be out of our tiny minds!:rotfl:
Anyway, off to do lunchboxes! Catch you all later (if I haven't fallen off an exercise bike and died!)
Miss P
