Well, I did resist in the end last night but it was touch and go. Thanks Pen as it was the thought of failing the challenge that kept me focussed!!!:D

Wagon has disappeared, where you all gone :(

Having a bad time indoors with 'im. I'm trying to make it through xmas for the kids sake but just want it to end. I'm telling him it's over on Jan 2nd.

After then, life will become sweet and I will be happy for the first time in a long long while :)

    I'm here :)

I know it may not be what you want to hear Jo, I know you're thinking of the kids, but when are you going to think of you? All this isn't good for you. I'd hate for this to all blow up over christmas - that would be much worse for the kids.

Course, I could be talking out my bottom :D Ignore me if you like!:rotfl:

I haven't been on here for a while but I'm sorry to read that Jo although it sounds like it would be for the best for you.

I'm only on 3 AF days now, been doing uselessly this month.

I got so sloshed last night, I bought cheap "champagne" from my local offy. I don't know what I thought I was celebrating.:rotfl:

I want to lose weight and cut down on drinking but I am going to start after Christmas because I don't think it will be realistic to start beforehand.:p

I'm determined that 2011 is going to be a good year for me.:D

Hi 115K:) There seem to be a few on here who can't wait to draw a line under 2010 and make a fresh start. I can understand that but do try to keep moderate, where possible, and stay in touch with even a couple of AF days then January won't come as such a shock to the system.

Just though that para sounds a bit preachy. Not intended, I think it's a message to me to make sure that Christmas doesn't mean I have to drink for 12 days solid!:D Plus unlike some of you I have no excuses other than that I enjoy it.

Pen, would you mind moving me into the four day bit of the challenge. I've just been out for a lovely lunch and volunteered to drive. I'm feeling a bit flat as a result (despite drinking sparkling water!) At least if I clock up another AF day, I'll have something to be pleased about.

:hello:Hi jo. I think you always planned to try and have a 'normal' Christmas and I do understand your reasoning. Maybe 'him indoors' will not stay indoors too much. Do try and get out yourself a bit both on your own and with the littlies. It will help the time go a bit faster. It's only 17 days to go.
