Can I join in the december challenge please, or is it too late?

It's never too late! for you HLS or anyone else. I too, can drink too much at the weekend but like I said earlier, over time, tolerance lowers and I don't drink so much on planned days. Plus it's so horrible feeling hung over, it spoils the next day.

Lots of good AFness on here tonight. Well done everybody (and me:o):T:T:T

I'm a sucker for a smilie (especially a Christmas one) and a jumping man sends me mad!! Childish or what?

3AF f0r December please Shaggy and

1 for this week's challenge Pen.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

  • Morning all!

I am feeling positive and ready for action today (!) :T so I've decided to aim for the next 11 days being totally AF. Then it's the uni Xmas party, so there's pretty much no chance I will stay AF for that, but in the meantime I can do myself a lot of good by staying off the sauce!

All my essays are handed in and completed, so that's a huge weight off my mind, so now it's just doing lots of placement shifts (which I enjoy) and doing housey stuff ready for Xmas (not that there's a lot to do, as my Xmas is going to be very quiet).

I am smiling again, which is nice. :j

Have a great day everyone, I will keep you posted on my AF-ness!

    Morning All,

+1 AFD for me please Pen & Shaggy. Took a while to get to sleep (as usual for AFD), not helped by the neighbour deciding 10pm was a good time for some LOUD music:mad:!!! First time I've ever complained - but it was turned down when I did - they're good neighbours really.:p

Funnily enough - I eat less when I'm being AF. But even when I gave up for 3 months, I was eating about 2 bars of choc a day, and still lost 3 stone! That's when I realised where my calories came from:o

Its nice to have a clear head, and I didn't go to the gym this morning - I'm planning on going about 5pm tonight when I know the bells will be ringing big time. Well, that's the plan anyway.... Can I do two AF days in a row:eek:

I must admit though that I wasn't sitting there last night wishing my tea was a beer, so a little more mental progress since joining.:)

Well, back to work. Have a good day all.
Smoke-free since Jan 2012 :j Now its just the drink, and the weight, and life in general :p
  • Morning all!

    5 for me please Shaggy!

Struggled a little bit last night. OH's lorry broke down so didn't get home till 7.30. Was very tempted to crack open a bottle about 6pm...but resisted the temptation. Piglet was fantastically well behaved, which made it easier.

Speaking of Piglet...think the cutest thing I've seen this year was him handing out his christmas cards at school :) He spent ages writing them last night and was so pleased with himself. I was a proud Mummy :):D

Anyway, best get on. catch you all later

    Miss P
    xx

P.s Cuppa - sorry, forgot to say. When I'm not drinking I eat tons of cake....and I NEVER normally eat cake. So its got to be a sugar thing

I think that's an excellent plan mark, keeping busy always helps. I think so many of us drink from habit or boredom. Go for the 2 days, I dare you!!

Tell Piglet he's a real star (and so are you)! Nothing makes me more cross than mums who write the cards for their children when they're perfectly capable of doing it themselves.
Didn't earlier (had a little cry). Raring to go though now. x

So glad you're feeling better HLS, onwards and upwards!

What a fantastically positive post caz, you're infectious!!

    Congratulations on finishing your essays:T

I'm sure keeping off the sauce will make you look radiant for the party and save you lots of pennies while you're at it. Spend it on something nice and sparkly to wear instead.
