As for the comment about Atheists and agnostics "celebrating" Christmas, we celebrate the opportunity to be with our family and friends, to see them happy and to enjoy good food together if you must wonder:p

And some of us celebrate the traditional Yule as pagans :D

I'm sure even very strict Christians don't just stick to the religious parts of Christmas. We all enjoy food and presents and trees. It's nice for everyone to just take from the traditions what we enjoy and what means something to us and our families, not be put into boxes and feel we should follow rules on what we're allowed to do. :)

alizee, My OH would LOVE that! Think I'll look for something similar, thank you!:D
  • I always tell my OH i want nothing just a nice christmas. This year i mean it more than ever. Last year i got discharged from hospital on November 25th after giving birth to my son a month before.. I suffered with multiple bloodclots on my lungs and dvt of my leg and pneumonia. My organs were also failing. I was in intensive care and was not supposed to make it.

So this year, i want to be healthy and see my children have a wonderful day, we have gone overboard this christmas to compensate for last year being so lousy.

I have lots of things I would like, but are all quite expensive so I doubt very much I will get them, hubby is having to work 2 jobs at the moment just so we arent overdrawn for the last 2 weeks of every month.

    I would love
    Black tall classic Uggs
Irregular Choice Meow boots in Grey (so cute)
A Lush hatbox full of goodies
A new dress from Vivien of Holloway and a co-ordinating underskirt
    Some Benefit make-up.

In reality we are probably going to set a £50 budget for eachother as we just had a lovely portrait done of the 3 kids that is quite expensive and still needs the balance paying off, so that can be our joint big present.
So with that in mind I would like
    A Benefit blue mascara
    Some Lush Daddy-o shampoo
    Some Primark all-in-one Pyjamas
    A new novel to read
    :)

    Ooh, yes please!

All I really want is a white Blackberry. My current phone is rubbish, and I've gone right off touch-screen phones now.

Maybe one of those new retro Sodastream machines, just for old times sake.

    And anything book-y or writing-y.
